the LFD tool will be required since it gives 2-3x bonus loot and combat buffs, you would be stupid to do it with the LFG tool. Unless of course it's made to where everything has those 2-3x drop rates and you get the buffs upon entering the dungeon, then I can happily go back to 2-3 manning things.





Wait what? The increased drop rate I thought was for all drops.

The rewards from using the LFD tool in Ktera(when you completed the dungeon) was potions, scrolls, crafting mats etc. Not really anything important.

The combat buffs I would love clarification on.


ON a side note, why on earth would someone use the LFG tool and not enjoy the benefits of the LFD tool?

you gusy crack me up .. I'll be using this dungeon finder at the first chance i get nothing at all wrong with it . And btw you cant ninja drops at al its auto assigned and you roll on blues and golds .

I think if they just make it so that full guild groups get all the perks minus the buffs then most people would be happy and on PVP servers make it so if you want to que for lfd you actualy have to click on the entrance to the dungeon.

Btw you people who despise cross server LFD tools, are a very very small minority, you are just super vocal.

Long as things are tweaked regarding the combat buffs and as long as the reward for completing a dungeon via the LFD tool is nothing more then a couple potions or scrolls or crafting materials , all is good. If it ever degrades to actual improved drop of actual gear, then we will have issues.

If you are going to force everyone to using the LFD tool why dont you let everyone use it?

Because if you have 5 people, you're not 'using' the tool -- a tool whose purpose is to provide people who do not have groups with groups. You have a group. Go use it -- your group has a superior advantage to a PuG.

I've heard it is for all instances and not LFD exclusive.

Where are people getting the idea of loot bonuses ? There is no bonus directly to "dropped" loot for using the LFD tool.

The extra rewards, based on ktera version , are potions, scrolls, crafting mats etc.

The 2-3x loot thing that was mentioned in another announcement is dungeons wide. It just means instead of a 5-10% drop , you have 15-30%(example). It's not tied to the LFD tool.

I do agree with people about the combat buffs and the whole "If i have a full group already, we get zero benefits, just because we didn't use the tool".
