Looking For Group and Instance Matching

I havent read through all the pages, but are there any plans to allow Warriors to have the option to queue as a tank? I find it odd that there is only 1 class in an entire game that is designated as a tank while using the dungeon finder. There aren't enough Lancer's to go around as it currently is, we end up waiting in a long queue time, and then when we do get one they are awful. My friend is a Warrior and he tanks no problem, but the -50% dungeon cooldown while using LFG is something that makes our 4 man party a little skeptical about whether or not it is worth it to wait in an extremely long queue at all.

tldr; Please look into allowing the Warrior class to have the OPTION of queuing as a tank to allow for faster queue times and more variation in tanks. Thank you!

The lack of cross-server queues is also the reason I quit swtor. The server population dropped and since so many naysayers were against the cross-server queues the game died with it.

DO not take out cross - server queues please - I don't care about rewards although they are really nice especially when they rewarded smaller parties with more drops - but I can live without rewards.

If the dungeon queue becomes non functional there is a 85% chance my debit card will also become non-functional.

As a long time World of Warcraft player, and an avid PvP'er, I have to say this is the worst idea En Masse has announced since I started following TERA.

So far, TERA has provided some of the most fun I've had on an mmorpg since WoW first came out. This game is new, fresh, beautiful, and just plain fun! I love every aspect of the game, both PvE and PvP.

As the IMS may be a great addition for those who like to instant queue into dungeons, and never leave major cities, it is an AWFUL idea for the PvP community.

Take Blizzard Entertainment's complete destruction of their World PvP for example. The day they introduced the Cross-Realm Instance Finder was the day I stopped enjoying the world PvP. Once you attain level cap, you will no longer have a need to leave a major city, aside from doing a daily quest, or "Nexus Event". This means that finding your way to a dungeon has no threats involved what so ever.

Not only will this take away from the level cap experience. It will take away from the low level PvP as well! Again, using WoW as an example, once this system was put into effect, at least 80% of the community switched from "Questing" to level, and started spamming the instance queue for easy leveling. This means 80% less random PvP encounters. 80% less FUN in the game!

I know that someone who only PvEs will have a different view on this, as it does make their lives easier, and even more fun as this means more times fighting in dungeons rather then looking for groups, but this mistake has already been proven by Blizzard Entertainment to truly ruin the World PvP experience.

I will definitely give the game a shot with the new system in place, but I'm sorry to say I will have to begin my MMO search anew if history repeats itself (which it usually does).

To En Masse entertainment, I highly recommend reconsidering the introduction of the Instance Matching System.

Why cause you are a pker and afraid that you won't be able to camp the entrance to low lvl dungeons?

Come roll an alliance on Illidan and tell me it's the LFG that has ruined OWPVP. The ratio is for every 100 horde there are 5 alliance. Ya LFG killed OWPVP.

Not sure if this has been mentioned (really didn't want to read through all the pages), but changing the loot system in Instance matching groups would be a good idea.

There is a thread on the forums with some good suggestions:

1) Make the loot system set (unable to change) for LFG groups, i.e. class restricted roll on Blue and above.

2) Make it so if the settings are to be changed from default everyone in the group needs to vote YES.

This would really avoid conflicts.

Speaking of loot setup. All of it needs to be reworded. The term randomly means it goes to whom every luck falls to where in fact it actually does an auto roll. Should be a little friendlier to people not familiar with the game. Took me a few tries to find the correct setting with the wording as they are now. Probly a good idea to have 4 types of "exceptions." Armor ( 3 options - round robin, roll, auto roll ) Weapons ( 3 options - round robin, roll, auto roll, ) Accessories ( 3 options - round robin, roll, auto roll ) Accessories include earrings, rings, necklace, and crystals. 4th Exception would be Misc. which include all other items dropped with options like roll, autoroll, round robin. Free for all is obviously whoever picks it up gets it. Honestly idk, those are just ideas but the loot options need to be reworked a tad bit in my opinion to make it more user friendly.

I don't have all day to spam chat channels looking for a group or not allowed to enjoy the content cause I can't spend all day requesting a invite.

The tool, is that a tool a means to find a group for the people that don't spend ten plus hours a day in a mmorpg.

I used it in the beta and was very glad it was there.

This is exactly the problem I run into.

EME wanted to raise general satisfaction in LFD, so they took away warrior tanks hoping the average quality of a party would go up. What they didn't think about was that since the supply of Lancers is too low, average queue wait time goes to infinity.

Someone didn't study their queueing theory in school:
