Please confirm what this GM has said:



1. No cross-server. Will the Dungeon Matcher in NA be different from the kTERA version?
2. You can enter the Dungeon Matcher as an existing party. If so, will 4-man party be the limit?

Most players with previous terrible experiences with cross-server LFD mechanics will be appeased somewhat by the 1st change. Of course, there will always be players who will oppose LFD in any form because they feel it will ruin OWPvP, but removing the cross-server aspect will make the system much more tolerable or acceptable for the rest of the majority.

In regards to the 2nd point: the convenience of Dungeon Matcher in itself should be its own reward, but I can somewhat understand why you may want to give some small incentives so more players take advantage of the system. In kTERA, however, the enchanting dusts and points toward gold loots for using LFD are simply too good of rewards to pass up--it has gone way too far beyond "encouraging use of LFD" to the point of "discouraging full party with friends and guild members." This can be entirely mitigated by changing the incentives to some minor but still useful rewards. Or better yet, allow 5-man party to join Dungeon Matcher. No, that serves no purpose in terms of dungeon-matching, but it makes things fair for people who do have enough friends to party with.

As if a dungeon finder wasn't bad enough, now this? I highly dislike this.


Also @ people talking about "tuning 58 content": Apparently they changed they're mind and are now going to be implementing Queen of Argon into launch. There's a question on the Answers site that confirms it, and one of the features of the "New Launch Feature" page is "Challenge the Nexus", which is clearly going to be the Rift event from QoA.

I don't understand why they took high lvl dungeons and retooled them for lower levels. That seems a bit backwards, you level to cap so fast that no one will even enjoy them anyway and now higher levels have even less dungeons to run and still only 2 real end game dungeons because lets face it, lvl 58 [filtered] is pointless.

We already knew this though, knoxxer said that we would launch with the lvl 60 patch. That was the whole reason why we wanted the lvl 58 dungeons retooled in the first place. Without them being retooled they're worthless and now we only have 2 real end game dungeons instead of like 6

Relax all 58 dungeons with a hard mode are balanced for level 60. Sorry it wasn't more clear.


The level 58 dungeons with *HARD MODES* will be meant for level 60 players.

Yeah of course I would assume the gear would be for level 60. I think its like WoW hard modes. There are hard modes from the level 60-70 dungeons, but all the gear was meant for 70 (for TBC anyways). I don't know what the cap in WoW is now or if it works different lol

I will add my hat to the pile and say that they need to remove the "significant" buffs and loot bonuses from the dungeon finder. It's supposed to be a convenient tool for the lonely players, not the only way to do things. Now no one will NOT use it, just so they will get the boosts. Congratulations on destroying that EME.
