Lets wait and only rage once it comes into release.

All of you complaining that the there are only 3 dungeons for lvl 60. Well if they haven't redesigned the dungeons to lvl 58, all the lvl 60ppl would run them for 1 or 2 days, then hit the hardmode. So makes sense to me what they are doing.

And yeah hardmode is probably lvl 60 loot. No way they would suggest it to lvl 60s and make drops for lvl 58s.

One thing I'm curious is that, I heard the Group matching system is not listing warriors as tanks. Can anyone confirm if this was fixed on Ktera or if En has any word on it?

Cheers.

Agreed, but you say three, others say two, but it seems some of the TERA community can't count to five.

Dungeon Level Dungeon Level
Bastion of Lok 20 --- Ebon Tower 58
Sinestral Manor 26 --- Ebon Tower (Hard) 60*
Cultists' Refuge 35 --- Kelsaik's Nest 58
Necromancer Tomb 41 --- Kelsaik's Nest (Hard) 60*
Sigil Adstringo 45 --- Labyrinth of Terror 58
Golden Labyrinth 48 --- Labyrinth of Terror (Hard) 60*
Akasha's Hideout 48 --- Balder's Temple 60
Akasha's Hideout (Hard) 48* --- Balder's Temple (Hard) 60*
Ascent of Saravash 48 --- Fane of Kaprima 60
Saleron's Sky Garden 53 --- Fane of Kaprima (Hard) 60*
Suryati's Peak 56
* Hard mode is intended for well-equipped characters.

I'm sure this looks ugly, but I want it visible on this forum page.

Look.

Look closer.

Theeeerrrree ya go. Dough-heads.

No offense to you, personally, I just grabbed the first one I saw on the last page to quote.

Dough-heads? Really?

EME have edited that many times since originally posting it. That's why people are posting different numbers. Originally it was not clear and had only 2 level 60 hard-modes.

I wonder if EME have another mistake by listing Akasha's Hideout as a level 48 hard-mode, since that would be an exception to the definition of the other hard-modes.

No, akasha lair is the same way on K tera.

Some very good news. I am very happy to hear that it is not cross-server. Some dough-headed individuals don't realize that there will be somewhere around 15000 people on some of the more populated servers at any given time. This decision will allow for servers to become closer as the communal entity of old-school MMO servers like asheron's call, vanilla WoW, everquest, etc. It makes for a much better environment, especially coupled with the plans you do have for cross-server interaction.

All of that said and out of the way, I have a very important question that could result in me being either fairly disgruntled (though i am sure I could find a way to undisgruntle myself), or happy! The question is to YOU, Devs, and here it is:

As fortune would have it, I have four friends who will be playing with me at release. That's a full party. With this instance finder of yours that gives extra benefits to those who party using it, I am concerned about folks who don't need or want to use it. How can we arrange to have all five of us in the party, and still get those benefits that the folks who use the finder get? Can we enter the finder with a four-man and choose from a list our remaining friend? how will it work?

Any answers are appreciated and will sate the curiosity of others, I am sure.

This needs to be emphasized for the devs. GaoGaoStegosaurus' post as well on page 2.

I really, really, hope we are able to jump in the queue with a full party. I am playing this game with my girlfriend and 6 other friends. I will most likely have a full party, Idunno.. 80% of the time? Hope the devs can shed some light on this.

The whole reason I wasn't so concerned with the Dungeon Finder was because I have friends online almost all the time and I would need not use it, like ever, to get my parties going. I was cool with the more lonely people having a way to get to dungeons.

But these "Buffs and extras bonuses" for using Dungeon Finder are screwing everything up. It's now becomed suboptimal to group normally with the people I enjoy playing with (Well technically I still get the assurance that the people I will group with are good and not scumbags, but knowing the randoms get a buff and more loot is really a kick in the teeth).

At the end of the day it's a minor irratation, but an irratation that could be avoided with ease nontheless. Here are my questions.

Will there be a way of acquering these buffs and bonuses even if not using the random grouping feature?

Will the difficulty of the dungeons be tone up considering the addition of buffs?

How much power are we talking when it comes to these buffs? The equivalent of a charm buff? A 50% bonus to health for tanks? Double critical rates on DPS? 200% mana regen on support? Just how powerful are these things?

Thanks in advance for your reply. Otherwise the rest of this update seems like good stuff to me.

Great, PvE-rs have 5 instances at 60. But what for PvP-ers and open world?

50/50 on this
Happy about the no cross, no port.
Not a fan of increased drops or buffs for pugs.

Overall ok with it, as long as they don't ever add 10-20 man instances. At that point any individual skill required would be replaced with pug lottery.

Oh well. by taking the war out of the tanking position on the LFG queue just makes it harder to get a group going.

Don't think there will be enough lancers to play, leaving heaps of party stuck on LFG system for a while.

But again, lets see how it all unfolds on release

LFD itself as a tool to just help find a party is fine - everything else is a nonsense - cross-server (if applicable and that "GM" didn't know what he was talking about), buffs, additional rewards, teleports.

But then, is anyone even surprised - really ? It's typical wowization feature, and one that is part of current QoA. It would be a miracle if they decided to tone it down.

You misunderstand. The LFD does not give people more dropped loot. The Dungeon drops are just being increased. The only thing the LFD gives people that use it, is the small little gift package thing, of which only has a random item. The random items in Ktera, normally are rare potions or enchanting powder.

Oh, Theres no port like in K-Tera? We'll have to run there regardless of using the tool or not? Kinda sucks if someone doesn't know the way, or it's their first time or they're just slow in general. Oh well, Glad to have it at all I guess.

There you have it EmE. Spot on with the dungeon finder, but not cool with the stupid buff and loot perks that go with it. Especially the loot ones. Not cool!
