I dont see what the big deal is, i looked at the physical CE and said.... Ya know what i just dont need any of that s###. The in game stuff matters more to me, just more clutter that youll never use and will just sit around while you play lol.
I understand that some people are limited with their bandwidth but im sure if we/you asked they could set up some torrents to download the game in sections beforehand. Just my opinion.[/quote]
It will be nice memorabilia though, especially if you have a lot of fond memories of the game. For example, I purchased the original Collectors Edition for World of Warcraft, which came with with a game art book, a cloth map, dvd, signed manual, and some other stuff; as well as 3 in game pets. The in game pets were awesome at first, but after a while you just stopped using the one you picked. Now though, when ever I see the cloth map or the dvd in my dvd case I remember all the great times I had back then.
TERA will hopefully offer the same exact thing - the mounts we may use for a while, but the other items will certainly be banked rather quickly. The physical items will always remain though, and each time I see them I'd like to be reminded me how awesome it was to first explore the world of TERA, and the friends I met along the way.
