I have put in for my CE order to be cancelled. If this gets shipped to me before that goes through I will return it for my refund because I honestly don't want this piece of garbage in my house now.

I've also asked for my physical CE order to be cancelled and switch to a digital CE - everything I've seen and read shows that what people have been receiving doesn't match what we were told we were buying :/
Can't say I'm not disappointed. There was no mention over EU version about the map being cloth (in the product image it seemed to have folds, so I assumed it would be paper). The handbook is far from a book nor does it look like a mix of an art book, looks like a heavily colored version of the usual manuals that come with the game. For the price can't say I expect more of the compass, I got it mainly for the map and don't care that much about the OST.
Had I known this, I'd bought my bf the physical CE since he plays on Frogster servers and get the goodies for myself. I already gave my friend in US $50 so he can ship my EME CE onwards to me, but the price is getting too much for just a pretty cardboard box.
Whats the deal with the awesome thick hardcover manual shown on the details page for the Phys. C.E. AND on the back of the Phys. C.E. packaging?
Why are we getting happy-meal toys while EU is getting that Buzz Lightyear they've always wanted?
Different publishers, different items. EU was all the time supposed to get an Art Book, while ours Federation Handbook was supposed to be a mix of instructions and an art book, I guess something along the lines of an illustrated journal or such.
yeah that just sucks. good thing i went ahead and preordered the digital version. i was definitely going to get the physical before and end up deciding not to. cant tell you how much i hate it when they show something kickass and it ends up being nothing like the advertisements
Thing is, this is taking the best of the marketing image, and taking the absolute worst you can get. The places near here would have meals that, if the left was 10 and the right was 1, would fall at about 7 or 8.
Either way, this will suck if that's actually what NA gets while the EU gets a much better one. I know it's different companies shipping it, but you'd think the CE would contain the same things.
So, not only do we not get what was advertised... but it looks like I won't be able to actually claim my collectors edition items until I get my box, while the digital orders can get theirs now. I'm not going to need any of the claims besides the lion by tomorrow. This is pretty disappointing.
