the question is, do i want to pay 80$ just for the EU CE from their store?

this is before shipping.

I know I will, anyway.

I buy CEs for the artbooks. I was promised a huge book that should've been filled with lore and art but instead got a user manual-sized booklet with info copy-pasted from the online game guide.

I don't particularly mind paying twice for such a great game, but I'm pissed EME ripped me off. They blatantly lied to their customers and published false advertising.

Like you said, though, we won't be getting an official announcement or anything of the like. It's much easier to just ignore the angry customers.

EDIT: Oh wait, Amazon doesn't ship games outside Europe and the only available EU CEs are $100+ on ebay. If anyone knows where to buy EU CEs other than ebay, do tell.

I brought the CE edition and truthfully compaired ot other collectors editions it's a step above. Usually a CE just means you get some artbooks, fancy box and a music sound track, and you end up paying like 20 bucks for for all this. The Tera CE you get a nice box, letter of Marque,a thick [filtered] map of tera, the CE Tera game with CE tera artwork printed on the cover, the sound track, and that kick [filtered] compass.

I mean for anyone that collects CE's that a pretty nice set. The only thing I was really let down on was the Handbook. They really screwed that up they shouldn't even have mentioned it, just like I didn't even mention it above.

For 80bucks thats a nice CE edition now if you QQ's want to be anal go out and spend 170bucks on the GW2 CE, get your Soundtrack,Gamemap,Fancy Case,Picture Booklet, and Game Art cards, and Fancy Figurine. To me that's just a waste of money because you're not getting anything new outside of the average CE but a statue.

With the Tera CE atleast they tried to make it an angle of game Lore, and not just some items you'd expect to pick up at a promo convention.

I really don't get why people will find the most randumbest stuff to complain about? What's wrong with the map? It's a huge freaking Map on textured Ye old times styled paper you know LIKE REAL MAPS from Ye old times. Why does anyone need a 20ft by 20ft cloth map of Tera? Are you planning to actually drive there in your buick and go explore?

The only people complaining about the Tera CE are people who probably don't even own it. I have yet to see anyone that does own it complaining about it. We all know why we brought it and that just to have an Edition that was above the average version with some cool Tera related items. Then it goes back in the box after we look at it and on the display case.

In my opinon the The NA version > The EU version because the version put out by En Masse is based on an in character experience of the game. It's like your welcoming kit to the game RP style and that's what their CE edition is about.

NA doesn't have the soundtrack, first off. Secondly, look at the plastic cover of the boxset. They didn't even bother to take the huge handbook from the image and left it as it was (falsely) advertised. If you like getting [filtered] over, that's your problem, but false advertising is the lowest [filtered] they could pull, and they did. When it comes to the map, that origami is leagues inferior to the cloth one the EU boxset got.

I paid over a hundred bucks, counting the shipping and border taxes and I didn't even get the one thing I paid additional money to get: a book. I don't know if this is a [filtered]up from EnMasse or Atari, but somewhere along the line someone decided it was a good idea to screw over thousands of people.

It's a decent CE, but nowhere near the quality and content we were promised. Now, I don't give a [filtered] about the money in the end, really, Tera is worth every penny, and I'm sure most will agree with this, what does piss me off, though, is getting openly lied to and treated like a fool by EME.

Ahh... yeah it does.

Remove the game discs from the case, that last disc in the stack, the one that says "SOUNDTRACK" on it?

...

That's the soundtrack.

NA does get the soundtrack, but like the game discs themselves, it is stuffed under the other discs in the case. it didn't even gets its own sleeve for protection. I don't have the CE myself because i have been dicked over far too many times in the past with other CE versions of games. Batman Arkham Asylum comes to mind with that terribad baterang that was being passed of [filtered] diecast( or some other metal) and turned out to be painted plastic. All i REALLY want is the map and t-shirt from the EU CE. I would have framed the CLOTH map. who wants to frame a map with a billion fold creases? its like something out of a begginers origami book.

I wanted it for the artbook. I mean even now after WoW has fell into the hell pit that it's currently in I enjoy taking out my CE artbooks and looking at them, I do it for the many other CE games that I have too. The thing that pissed me off the most was, as many other have said, the totally blatant disregard for us by falsely advertising the contents that were going to be included in the CE. And as I have said before, I scanned the CE top to bottom and did not see 1 little scrap of info that read "Contents may differ from what's shown", which means that what we see is SUPPOSED to be what we get.

Has anyone else NOT received their copy of the physical CE yet? My CC was charged on the 26th but my copy never arrived, and now the game is not letting me play because it says I have a trial account. And to add to all this I'm reading how crappy the artbook is compared to what was advertised, and it makes me think I should just cancel the whole thing.
