A bustling but not overcrowded server is key to the TERA experience, so we won’t allow transfers to servers that are already oversaturated; we can monitor populations in real time and adjust server eligibility on the fly.



So my options are transfer from VoT with a 2500 que, to Jagged Coast with a 1500 que, or to Basilisk Crag with a 1000 que? How is that not "allowing transfers to servers that are already oversaturated"?

Why no PVP to PVE?
Why no bank transfers?
Why did you give the Headstart Pre-Order exclusive bonus to practically anybody through buddy codes, and blowing up the ques in the first place?
And are there any plans to accomodate players who get dc'd a chance to regain their spot?

Don't get me wrong, you guys have done an exemplary job thus far listening to the community and staying on top of things, and think I En Masse is fantastic. And I'm assuming you have reasoning or foresight we're unaware of regarding these decisions. But it would be nice to know that reasoning.

Because whats to stop someone leveling to 60 on a pve server unhindered, and then jumping to a pvp server with an unfair advantage?
You would be surprised how much slower pvp server leveling can be if theres alot of griefers.

Hi

I was wondering if the transfer character option is kind of useless. Let me explain, what if every account of every player has 2 characters on each server. Does the population decrease when a player transfers 1 character to another server ?

I dont get how the population indicator works. Popullation full means full accounts allowed playing on server or characters?

I ask cause i tried to play with my guild on jagged coast server but i cant cause it says it is full, so for me is forever alone playing on Feral Valley.

So, What your saying is that people that want to play with their guild is getting screwed out of playing with them since 3 of the 4 PvP servers are account locked. I know its only day two, but at least open the servers to a few hundred more account allowance. There are more PvE servers that are pretty useless due to very low numbers.

If you want to monitor play get ride of a couple of the 7 PvE servers then open the servers it seems EVERYONE ELSE want to play. With no server transfers to the top 3 PvP servers. This would be the only way to please everyone that has guilds\friends on account locked servers.

Kind of a waste of money for the people that want to play with their guilds that cant log in and play with them. Obviously, No one was playing attention to the demand for PvP during open\closed betas....

No.

A big +1 to this... I don't know why the PVPers think that a company has to work around their wishes. There could be that many PvE servers because they need that many to spread out the population, and only 4 PvP servers to accomodate those who wish to do that.

I say let EME proceed as they are... if there needs to be more PvP servers, I have faith that they will set them up. SImple enough... no QQing required....

Except that, if they did what most PvPers wanted, you'd be looking at queue times of 3+ hours and would be crying that they aren't/didn't do anything about it.

Either way, I'm glad I am playing on a PvE server and was able to see the obvious signs of which server would fill up fast and how fast they would fill up. ^_^

F2P Is 2 days away and i just bought the game and an extra mount i was under the impression i could freely server transfer my friends rolled a pvp server and i went the pve one thinking they were the same we have all reached the end of our trial and i purchased the game etc so i could transfer to them but i cannot WTF can i get a refund or can they fix this for me i am not a lvl 60 character i am only lvl 28 so i dont see any imbalance in a transfer
