What about people like me who can't setup subscription?
I pre-order digital collector edition on Amazon. I played for several days. And when I wanted to setup subscription, I got Payment Authorization Failed message with both credit card and Paypal. I am sure that address is matched, credit card wasn't rejected, and I have more than sufficient credit to charge for subscription, which by the way always shows $0 price.
Now, I can't play. I don't have any free trail. And I'm not even sure about if I can play in future or not.
I deeply appreciate some decent answers about this annoying problem.
Failed payment error also today and im using same credit card that my subscription is setup on. I called my cc company no problems there and plenty of balance on card.
Still broken for me. They should really fix this problem soon or else they'll lose a bunch of customers + potential customers from the fallout of this situation.
I'm expecting full compensation for the loss of gametime from all those affected.
still broken for me ...on my account, it is isolated to one server if that helps anyone else...so frustrated ... more that 28 hours now and counting...
Managed to get to chat with a GM for a bit. He tried a number of things with me. Still no luck for me either. 2 weekends in a row now.
We know that transferring your char to another server resolves it. Couldn't transfer back because he didn't have authority. So we didn't do this. Also didn't want to wait 48 hours
Renaming the character does nothing
changing the subscription does nothing.
Making a char on another server and transferring to affected server does not work.
Checked the clock time on the computer to match up - didn't work
Had an unresolved game code that did not work. resolved, but did not fix problem.
That's all I know for now, maybe people tried other things?
Making a subscription with a credit card is still broken for me but PayPal works.
GM tried everything but i still get booted after 5 mins in game.......what a mess this is.
Hey guys over at EME. Much love, having fun playing the game - while I'm still able to.
Since I am still unable to change my subscription plan so far I have 3 weeks of playtime left, not sure what's happening after. Any news whether we will be able to change subscription plans - since "Subscription and Account Issues have been Resolved?" or does the fact they are officially acknowledged as "resolved" mean that I'm stuck paying month to month?
Which you know, it's probably a blessing in disguise. Because it would really suck to reach a point in the game where for one reason or another I'm let down by the game but I already gave them more money than I should have because I got into a yearly dub plan...
Nevermind, it's better to stick to this month to month. Leaves me the power to cancel within a few months and still end up ahead.
