It's a nice trailer. I just wish Tera actually played like that. I notice these trailers go through great pains to present the world of Tera as if it is very much live. But in reality it often feels very cold and sterile. That isn't to say that the environments aren't beautiful, they are. But each area is just populated by a few friendly NPCs that (for the most part) stand around doing nothing. And the mobs just look like they're dropped all over without much rhyme or reason.
There have been threads complaining about this before, even as far back as the old forums, so I'm not saying anything new. I was just hoping it would be fixed like now. Seeing the world of Tera look alive in a video trailer is nice. But seeing it in the actual game would have been a thousand times nicer.
I hate to mention this, but.. really.. from this perspective Guild Wars 2 feels a lot closer to that trailer than Tera actually does. If there is one thing they did right over there, it's making their world feel like it's a living, breathing thing.
