That's actually an excellent compromise, great job EME!

Except theres no combat in the demo from what I heard. You get the gear reward from talking and it ends.

Incorrect. There's actually a decent amount of combat, including single mobs, large mobs, and BAMs. The quest titled "The Prologue Ends" starts after you get the gear, however it's about a five or six quest-long chain that takes you through the basics of the different terrain and then the combat.

i had a feeling it was going in that direction. its not ideal but it does do it better than most mmos that lock you into the lowest more boring levels.

its mostly the case here too but at least its somewhat faster. with the added bonus of not having tons of trial accounts clogging LFG and gold seller spam.

hmmm, tried launching it 3 times just to check otu what they were showing off. 3 fails due to Gaikai Technical Issues, please try again. Looks like EME choose the wrong partners once again.

I wanted to try the demo, to make sure it worked properly, before recommending it to friends. It took 3 tries to finally launch up and after selecting any of the three available characters, it says I cannot enter and sends me back to the character selection screen. Hopefully this will get resolved, because I think it is a great way to bring in more players!

I just tried this on my crappy work PC and it ran just great. I sent the link to the demo to a few friends here. Good job!
