has anyone used this set up and seen boast in game play or graphics? I'm just interested with comments on how this has worked for someone if the have used it. If not, maybe someone likes it and gets it :) I'm just trying to learn more about this and how it works.

well i mean they have newer gen models, i built a machine for a fellow not too long ago w/ an A8 in it, but it wasn't on beta weekend... I thought about tossing tera on it for [filtered]s and giggles just to see how she did...

honestly I'm excited as hell for the APU's not to put into my desktop, but to make gaming laptops that are halfway decent affordable... gotta think mobile here... obviously it being integrated any enthuse should have already look away... but as someone who'd like to eventually pick up a laptop that's not 987987298729872 bucks that can play things with decent settings - the APU's are a huge leap forward.

i'll be excited about these once they start pushing the tablet form factor more, cause then i could actually get a 3/4G tablet with one of these in it and actually play some games on the go (battery life would suck though lol)

I am running an A8 3870k, is it worth it? Well to put it in perspective, no not really. Does it run fine? Yes, runs perfectly fine. Does it boost TERA performance? Nope ... not at all. Slows it down in crossfire. So, I just use the graphics card I have instead.

The good news is .. it didn't cost much to build this rig. The bad news is .. If i could go back .. I probably would have not gotten an A8. It's processing power is crap.
