garbage companies produce garbage games

"It has always been 2nd to WoW" what is that even supposed to mean? loool

Thank god ArenaNet isn't a garbage company! :D

Bioware was not bad either, but dun dun dunnnnnnn EA kinda is.

da2 me3 and swtor...... :|

People will have to wait and see how ncsoft goes about gw2, it is not areanet you need to pay attention to.

I hate people ragging on EA. They've done nothing wrong lol. The games EA has backed have been great titles. Mass effect 1 2 and 3... Lets start there. Mass Effect series in general, in terms of story is hailed as one of the best Sci-Fi epics of this generation, nearly equal in quality (some maybe argue better) of huge sci fi epic books, movies and TV shows like Star Wars, Star Trek, Ender's Game and Dune. The only true issue in ME3 imo was the fact that all the games push a "Make choices which determine outcomes" but at the end of ME3 you were kinda pushed into choices and the things you've done in past games didn't end up making any real differences. But it offered 3 different choices on how to end the game and I thought all of them were very good.

Battlefield. This is a huge no brainer. The Battlefield series has been nothing short of spectacular, from 1942 to BF3 and everything in between, the games do large scale combat and they do it great. BF3 is currently one of the few games that actually take advantage of high end GPUs and the large scale combat is simply amazing. Not to mention it also does great CQ combat much better than CoD series, for people who like that kind of stuff.

Crysis. The first game showed us what the future of video game graphics were going to be like. With graphics and enviroments so advanced that for years it was THE standard in comparing system performance. Crysis 2 launched looking great, but changes were made so people with lesser systems could enjoy the game, and later the DX11 and HD packs again showed off an amazing looking game. Not to mention that the game play was much more fast paced and suit functions were much easier to use in combat.

SWTOR is good in it's own right. I personally disliked the WoW-ish feel of the game, but the story telling features were a nice change from wall-o-text, and BGs like Huttball were a lot of fun. People complain about lack of content, but SWTOR is pretty new, just like Tera, so to expect vast amounts of PVE content to rival games like EQ oe WoW is not reasonable. But the content it does have is pretty good, the space battle thing is neat, but there needs to be more to it, and large scale PvP worlds and BGs needs to be expanded.

Sure EA puts out a LOT of games. And many of them aren't on the level of Crysis or BF3. But give them some credit, they do put out some amazing titles.

I also hate people using NCSoft as a reason to stay away from GW2. They are just distributors of the game, they have no say in anything that goes on. NCsoft offers tech support, but honestly, how many times in a YEAR would you really need to contact something from NCsoft of technical problems (In game problems are handled by GMs). Not to mention NCsoft's wait times on support are average (some companies are a little faster, but many companies are far worst). Most people even say that Blizzard / activision WoW tech support is inferior to NCsoft..
