Now that people are playing GW2 and finding out it's not what they thought it was going to be, it seems Tera is starting to be talking about more. Like the fog is being lifted and folks are like "Wasn't there another game comming out like next week? what was it called? T.. T....TE..TER...TERA! Yeah that's it Tera! totally forgot about that game."

This is going to be interesting this next up and comming week.Whatever happens I just hope something comes out to dethrone WoW. It's about time MMO's got a facelift in general.

At the same time I also think GW2 looks pretty good as a GW's player I'm looking forward to it....when it actually comes out that is.

People tend to believe everything NCSoft said, as if they were somehow not marketing/using PR for the launch.

GW2 is supposed to cause a paradigm shift in the mmo industry and single handedly put EA out of business.

WOW will close all its servers down a few months after release because the GW2 zealots claim that GW2 will cannibalis about 75 to 86% of the entire mmo market across all regions and across all mmo games.

I get the feeling they tried to convert GW1 into an action game and succeeded at both destroying all that was good about the original GW (the detailed skill builds and teamwork) and putting out a half assed clone of tera.

GW2 has been rushed out due to TERA...

and they're paying for it.

Guild Wars 2 was probably the biggest marketing scam of the year.

Yeah, this game from the streams I'm watching turned out to be exactly how I expected it to be. A good game to some but a huge let down to others that put their expectations too high. In a way I feel it's unfair to GW's in general but at the same time it's AnetsNcsofts fault for getting so money hungry with their preorder campaign.Paying 60 bucks to try is beta is what all these people are really doing and they have no clue when they'll even get the full game. That's just not cool at all.

I do think it's nice that it's Guild Wars in a whole new world and I'm looking forward to continuing the GW's lore in a new game. Same as I pretty much enjoyed playing Mario again in SMB3. It's just like a sequal to a game but TERA is on an entirely different level and I hope people start catching on to it.
