I've started this thread to try to figure out if anyone knows if my CPU could be bottle-necking my GPU, or vice-versa. Mainly about Dungeon FPS issues.
My FPS usually drops to low 20's while in these instance's. In open world i'd say I average 40-45, sometimes as high as 70. (dropping to low 20's when in combat with multiple mobs+minions).
I always have shadows off and I'm constanly tweaking the ingame setting to improve performance while not comprimising too much visual quality.
I turn the player spell effects down when I go into a dungeon and I still get sub 20's FPS sometimes dipping to mid-teens.
Any help appreciated, PC Specs below
My specs: e8500 oc'd to 4.0 ghz
Nvidia GTX 460 1 gb oc'd
Win 7 64-bit
8 Gb Crucial RAM
