Hey all, I wanted to start this thread in the old forums but since it was likely it would be lost when the forums got taken down so I waited for the new one!

Feel free to post a photo or two of your rig and its spec's. Don't be afraid! It can be a 5k monster to grandma's old e-machine!

This is my first computer I built myself. costed me 830.00USD at the time i built it back in '08. Now sadly I'm out of a job and don't have the money to build the X79 computer I have saved in my newegg wishlist lol. But at least I'll be able to play the game.

Not at my comp atm so I'll post pics later, but I'm running;


Motherboard: msi gd 80 p67
CPU: i5 2500k (quad-core) clocked at 4.9 ghz (cool and stable on air)
GPU: gtx 470, overclocked to run like a stock 570.
Memory: kingston hyper-x 8 gigs (2 x 4gb) clocked at 2000mhz
Storage: 1tb 7200 rpm wd blue drive. And 64gb sata3 ssd
Case and cooling: nzxt guardian case, with hyper 212+ cpu cooler


Pretty reasonable rig, low cost and runs TERA on max with. 60+ frames.

I've tried using my 52" before, it was cool to look at and seemed impressive but I could never get used to it to play like that.. I got that wallpaper at work and on all my pc's at home haha!

Don't need to get too fancy, kids...

That's why I said post your Rig regardless of how "fancy" it is. Maybe I should have said post the age of your pc too. Regardless, I'm a computer enthusiast. While I love shininess and overkill I respect older hardware.
