I won't argue this. Not one bit. I will say that "supposedly" there are a lot of big changes in store for the Character Creator screen when the game goes live. How much this is true I have no clue.
Due to being burned with mmo's in the past even I am taking my time with deciding if I am going to buy the game. I do enjoy the story, and many other things in the game are enjoyable to me. So for all the other elements I do like I am willing to give the game time and see what they do with it at launch. I'm sure they'll be a lot of youtube videos up on what's changed and improved upon over time. So here's to the best of luck to FC and that maybe they'll get a game right for once.
I have never been so repulsed by a character creation system as I was when I loaded up the TSW beta. Anyone who thinks it is better than the "mistake" AOC, is delusional. I have never seen such a sloppy MMO in my life.
