Woot! Its good to see another mmo go live. I for one am looking forward to seeing more mmo's go live. As its been over the years its pretty much been only one main mmo on the market leaving most other mmo's in the dust. Yes i'm talking about WoW.

But with more mmo's being released than ever maybe there will be some happy healthy alternatives for gamers to get into. I for one will be playing TSW as I have been playing the Closed Betas and been having a blast and hope to see another mmo stay afloat with out it coming crashing down.

No this does not mean I have no respect for BHS/EME. I actually think EME is doing a fine job with atleast trying to listen to its fan base and I surely do hope Tera sticks around for many years. I myself hope to have another mmo I can return to and enjoy from time to time. When player hit that burn out factor it sucks and with no other good mmo's on the market it's let us feeling that we have to suck it up or move to the next new mmo to see it crash n burn, as it should not be. I wish all the luck in the world to EME and hope to see the best for Tera but for now my time will be spent on TSW.

1 line of advice to EME... VO quest. Learn to use it! it makes a big difference.

Tater how is the overall leveling difficulty? Is something like swtor where u have to rec after every pull and have to level assassin with tank spec to avoid getting wtfpwned till you get healer companion?

its kind of funny if people actually analyzed Tera's combat system they would find a vast majority of the combat is actually fully recreate-able in a tab target game with collision.

While it may be fully recreatable, it's not being done.

Though, really, both are still hit buttons. With the big difference in TERA being, move to dodge.

Though it's silly to knock tab targetting. There's plenty of people who prefere and WANT to just click target, smash buttons, and not worry about having to move their avatar everywhere.

It's a matter of player choice. And it's not even limited to being a NA thing. It's a world wide player thing.

You can still move to dodge in a tab-target, in reality a targeted player only signifies, "this is the person I wish to attack". In a tab target the only thing you really can't do is have projectile based spells able to be aimed along x, y, z axis due to the lack of a cross hair. The problem is that as said, developers aren't pushing their combat systems to their limits so people underestimate the power of a tab-targeting system.
