I only stumbled upon Tera in early May when I was trying to figure out what I was going to do with myself for 15 days until D3 launched. Since that time I have become a little worried. After waiting for years for D3 I am worried that now that I've found Tera and experienced this groundbreaking combat, I won't even want to play D3!
I'm bummed that there seemed to be a long period when there was nothing new under the sun and now we have Tera, D3 and soon GWII. Tera in many ways (aside from just combat)is innovative and may be the MMO to beat! Every day I spend on this game hooks me more.
The people who remain silent will buy it, the people who say the won't buy it are stupid or just trying to save face lol.
But everyone knows this game is eventually going into their library, release date or no. You would pretty much have to hate yourself to deny Diablo III.
I wasn't going to play D3 even before I discovered Tera. That type of game just isn't my cup of tea. A good game, don't get me wrong, just not my type of game. Most of my buddies (IRL and my guild) are gonna hit up D3 at release, so Tera may be lonely for awhile for me lol.
I didn't realize we had to establish allegiances. So much game vs. game vs. Tera silliness on these forums.
Well I do declare! My allegiance is to gaming :) Be it GW2, Tera, D3, Kingdom Hearts or Minesweeper, I'm a gaming fanboy.

I also will be playing Tera.
I played Diablo I and II and loved them, and I cannot for the life of me figure out why anyone would want to play D3 when there are games like Tera, WoW, and GW2 available these days. I mean, its not truly 3d, its not an MMO, you cant move freely, etc. I just dont get it.
D3 is going to suck my grandmas butt. That's just my opinion though.
I WONT be buying or playing D3. i beta tested it and it doesn't hold any interest at all for me. I did play D2 for like a year straight though :(
I don't hate myself, I'm 29 years old and work a full time job with mandatory overtime. I have a wife and a stepkid who I try to give attention to and help with their homework, I have a vacation back east coming up in a month, et cet. so there are a large number of factors feeding into me not being able to indulge every game that comes out. I wouldn't have looked at Tera twice unless as fate would have it, I heard about it during the last weekend of open beta, played it and got my wife to play it too.
I can't say D3 is good or bad and I'll probably never know. I'm not really interested to find out. I can't juggle multiple games, I only really have time to work on one.
