I have been reading the forums on PvP for a while now, and I had a thought about a PvP tool, that might be simple to implement and would be useful on both sides of the PvP scenario, as victim or ganker.

A simple proximity alert for people that you have flagged as enemies . I don't feel this takes away from first time gankers at all, but it serves to liven the PvP experience once you have labeled someone "enemy".

The alarm would only flash once with text and wouldn't mark them out for you in any way, only tell you that your enemies are within said proximity, proximity being something not too large to still allow people to " get caught slipping " if they aren't paying attention.

It would also serve to promote open world PvP for those of us with vengeance in our hearts. And for those that are more likely to run, well , it livens up the hunt for the people determined to kill them. IMHO, if you get easily frustrated because someone has labeled you "enemy" and they use this tool to escape you, you don't want them bad enough.

For myself, If this tool was there, and alerted me to my enemies being near, i'm not changing channels, I am coming for yer azzzz !

So how about thoughts ? Pro's and Con's anyone ?
