Lets be honest... Knock downs and stuns are just to too much at the moment. Lancers can pull/kd/shield stun/ win without having a fight put up against it. Same for slayers. Its just a bit too intense. Im not sayin remove Knockdowns or stuns. Just set up diminishing returns in PVP for anything that causes you to not take any action.
One Knockdown can mean the fight right there. I spam the teleport or retreat but the skill cant get a chance to activate even.
Once again the issue isn't the CC. The issue is Perma CC. And that's only for the stuns! Just give me a fighting chance damit :P
P.S. - If your argument is you should never get hit as a caster so this is a none issue... then frankly you suck if you cant hit a caster and this problem is aimed at everyone not just those kd'ed easily
Dont you think its bit early to say this considering we havent even gotten to play at lvl cap.
Besides pvp is balanced to work without those diminishing returns.
I didnt notice there was a thread about this already so you can still comment here if you want but let me clear some things up ahead of time
-Casters teleport is on a longer CD than most melee catch ups and whether your char ports or dashes its the same dam thing... Also melees (save zerkers) have multiple gap closers before 38.
Point: Kiting perfectly is impossible on a decent player
-Slayers Long range can Kd --- Lancer has a pull that can temp stun --- a Warrior outran my horse while he was on foot using skills...
-Melee can KD/stun on a single hit and every hit after
I make these points only in hope that people wont bring up a "dont get hit" point. Once again the stun diminishing returns is meant to benefit everyone. Not just those easily KD

this wouldnt be a diminishing return game, it would be an immunity timer game. honestly i dont see the need for it though.
You are right about the immunity timer but there has got to be something done about the knock downs, stun, stagger effect... something
Higher level gear and PvP gear have bonuses on them with things such as stun duration reduction and extra knockdown resist.
I'll agree with these statements and only say unless the gear greatly decreases kd rate then its still going to be an issue. The only reason why i am making this pre 60 suggestion is that around the forums you can read people capped in Ktera still having the same issues. Maybe rumors... but if they aren't...
