Any Recommended Scythe Combos for PVP?

I'm not sure if this is a good combo, but it has 2 parts to it though and yes I'm using all glyphs of advantage.

Here's the following combo I want to try out with attack speed that's high enough: Part 1: Backstab(2 edges), Poison(2 with NI), CS(1), ROB(1), Reaping Slash(1), Roll Behind, Vortex Slash, BD (2 edge + reset). 9 edge from this combo, 7 without Backstab edge glyph and NI disabled.

Part 2: Binding Sword, Battle Cry,
Option 1: if BD doesn't reset, Poison Blade into Scythe.

Option 2: if BD resets, Rising Fury, BD into Scythe.

Option 3: if you have 7 edge and enough attack speed to pull off this combo, Rising Fury, CS, ROB into Scythe.

Plz recommend any Scythe I can try to pull off or any fixes I can make to the one I listed above. TY!

Just do what everyone else does

Dfa backstab vortex blade draw cascade rob (if enough ping / dstance) poison blade scythe

Pretty much that [filtered] 100s to 0 a priest in 3s equalized if you get enough crits without any edge, if not, theyll be at 20% if much (THATS WHY EVERYONE FOCUSES WARRIORS AAAAAA). You may wanna use reaping after rob if the healer or whatever doesnt have retaliate so you can roll vortex blade draw scythe or the other kd skill and keep getting edge while you kd chain em.

Ignore anyone who uses vortex slash in their backstab combos. People who copy-pasta page 43 of suzamia's advanced warrior pvp guide shouldnt be playing this game still srsly.

Now lets get to the goods. This is dstance world inb4 mangoland tells everyone to go astance its a comfort thing!

Rule #1 of the universal bible to everything warrior states that

YOU MUST STAGGER BEFORE BACKSTAB!

So from this you already know combative strike (aim for the corners keep your FOV as birds eye as you can get it!) then backstab. Alternatively you can rising tap using block cancel to backstab with no edge gained.

Rule #2 of the universal bible to everything warrior states that

YOU MUST BLOCK CANCEL EVERYTHING!

Did you know backstab can be block cancelled? thats right so u better backstab block to save those precious seconds!

Tip #1 of the universal bible to everything warrior states that

YOUR COMBO ENDS ONCE CASCADE ENDS!

I see a lot of noobs going for the roll vortex bd scythe after a reaping slash. It dont work against good players dont even try that [filtered] stack preliminary edge and combo so u end up with 7-10 edge scythe.

Now lets look at my base combo. Deviations do happen but you wont see me using combative in my backstab combo because desync is a [filtered].

Combative Block>Backstab Block> Poison Block> Chargeslash> BD Block> Cascade>rob>scythe

if you have 0 edge thats 8 edge combo right there!

You might be saying to yourself bbbbbut when I use chargeslash I desync! to you I say congratulations you have the ultimate pvp advantage 100% immunity when knocked down now go find another game.

There's a ton of potential edge-building combos. I could talk all day about it and probably fill the whole page with potential chains, but I won't - mostly because I don't have 3 hours to dedicate to every possible combination you can exhaust, so I'll simplify it.

A-stance
Immediately following a Backstab, you can use the following options before Cascade of Stuns or Scythe if you've hit 10 edge:

• Combative Strike
• Poison Blade
• Charging Slash
• Charging Slash > Blade Draw
• Vortex Slash > Blade Draw

Immediately following a Cascade of Stuns, you can use the following options before Reaping Slash to secure a knockdown chain:

• Combative Strike
• Rain of Blows

Immediately following a Cascade of Stuns, you can use the following options before Scythe:

• Charging Slash > Blade Draw
• Vortex Slash > Blade Draw
• Rain of Blows
• Combo Attack (x1) > Poison Blade > Scythe

Upon a knockdown, you can follow up with the following options to build edge or secure a Scythe if opponent has no Retaliate; all ideally performed at opponent's back:

• Rising Fury > Blade Draw > Evasive Roll (behind opponent) > (kd again with chained Scythe)
• Rising Fury > Evasive Roll (behind opponent) > Vortex Slash > Blade Draw > (kd again with Scythe)
• Combative Strike > (kd again with Reaping Slash)
• Combative Strike > Rain of Blows > (kd again with Reaping Slash or Scythe)
• Poison Blade > (kd again with Scythe)
• Charging Slash > Blade Draw > (kd again with Scythe)
• Vortex Slash > Blade Draw > (kd again with Scythe)

Upon a knockdown, you can follow up with the following options to restun your opponents as they Retaliate (frame is 1/10th-1/20th of a second) to prevent them from securing 3s immunity buff:

• Battle Cry > (follow up with Rising Fury chain or Cascade them)
• Staggering Counter
• Backstab

If you have Staggering Counter available and glyphed for duration, you can extend your stuns and follow up with Backstab, Cascade of Stuns, or Scythe, using the following combos beforehand:

• Combative Strike
• Poison Blade
• Charging Slash
• Charging Slash > Blade Draw > (only followable by Scythe if no speed proc or Energy Stars)
• Vortex Slash > Blade Draw > (only followable by Scythe if no speed proc or Energy Stars)

D-stance
D-stance opens up a new world of possibilities, but it's fundamentally the same at heart. The biggest difference is the ability to block-cancel, allowing endless possibilities for edge building if utilized to its fullest potential.

Immediately following a Backstab, you can use the following options before Cascade of Stuns or Scythe if you've hit 10 edge:

• Combative Strike
• Poison Blade
• Charging Slash
• Combative Strike > Rain of Blows
• Vortex Slash > Blade Draw
• Vortex Slash > Blade Draw > Poison Blade
• Vortex Slash > Blade Draw > Combative Strike
• Charging Slash > Blade Draw
• Charging Slash > Blade Draw > Combative Strike
• Charging Slash > Blade Draw > Poison Blade
• Combative Strike > Poison Blade
• Combative Strike > Poison Blade > Charging Slash > Blade Draw
• Vortex Slash > Blade Draw > Charging Slash > Blade Draw (requires speed proc/Energy Stars or very low ping)
• Vortex Slash > Blade Draw > Combative Strike > Poison Blade
• Combative Strike > Traverse Cut > Blade Draw
• Poison Blade > Traverse Cut > Blade Draw
• Several variations on these

Immediately following a Cascade of Stuns, you can use the following options (assuming they still have Retaliate):

• Combative Strike > Rain of Blows > Scythe
• Combative Strike > Rain of Blows > Reaping Slash > Evasive Roll > Scythe
• Combative Strike > Traverse Cut > Blade Draw > Scythe
• Combative Strike > Reaping Slash > Evasive Roll > Scythe
• Rising Fury > Evasive Roll > Scythe
• Rain of Blows > Scythe
• Rain of Blows > Reaping Slash > Evasive Roll > Scythe
• Rain of Blows > Combative Strike > Reaping Slash > Evasive Roll > Scythe
• Rain of Blows > Rising Fury > Evasive Roll > Scythe
• Rain of Blows > Poison Blade > Scythe
• Poison Blade > Scythe
• Poison Blade > Traverse Cut > Blade Draw > Scythe
• Charging Slash > Blade Draw > Scythe
• Charging Slash > Blade Draw > Poison Blade > Scythe
• Vortex Slash > Blade Draw > Scythe
• Vortex Slash > Blade Draw > Poison Blade > Scythe
• Many variations of the above

Before Backstab or Cascade, one can use Shadow Flanker, with the following skills in between:

• Poison Blade
• Combative Strike
• Charging Slash
• Have not tested extended chains with speed proc on this yet, but don't bet on it

And that's just scratching the surface of potential edge chains. Hope it gives you some insight on the possibilities.
