Played UO for a long time pretty much all I did was PvP if you played competitive east coast PvP I was part of MM and VIP! L^D. Chars were NeXeD, TRUNKS, SuPeR GIMP, and speed Starr. Looking for some good pvpers to learn about terra PvP, I heard its a little like darkfall and I played that for a while too so I should be a pretty quick learner.

Hey played UO for a few years after it first came out. Was fun and the pvp was fun as hell for the time, however, whoever told you this game was like Darkfall hasn't played or was yanking your chain sorry. Darkfall is very much a pvp based sandbox. This is far from sandbox. Has potential for maybe being such in the future if they want to do a small overhaul. But otherwise at the moment its closer to EQ2, DAOC, with a twitch based combat system mixed with the hotkeys. All of it has to do with timeing and some tactics. its fun as hell and will make you think but if your a darkfall sandbox fan not for you.

PvP Nox mage reporting in. I played UO for years, to this day I still re-sub after every expansion just to check it out.

I played a tamer for awhile, then they made changes so I couldn't run around with +7 dragons spamming "all kill", lost interest in the tamer after that.

UO was such a good game. If someone remade UO with the graphics that unreal3 has to offer like it does for tera, I would literally withdraw all the money I own and force it in down their pants. I miss UO. Sadly it's dated and it shows :/

Played Siege Perilous for a few years and Baja before that. Welcome to Tera.
I'm on Basilisk Crag as a Slayer named 'Krupz'.

Yeah after playing a little today I figured out the only thing this game and darkfall have in common is the ability to target. That being said it kinda feels more like DCUO with doing combos to gain mp, started a Slayer and im at least going to play until I hit level 60 for some PvP.

I played UO on Chesapeake and Pacific... EA is what killed that game. I loved when you could roll around in exceptionals and pvp like the rest. None of that insure stuff, if someone died they dropped everything. A modern rendition of renaissance would be amazing, but, considering EA has the rights it'd never be done right.
