I couldn't get the chance to do pvp with my archer, so i have a few questions: is it good for solo pvp? and how about group pvp? which classes are difficult to beat in solo and what should I be aware of mostly? I know this kind of questions depends on player skill too, I'm just asking on an average basis.
I also never PvP'd as Archer, but a friend of mine did and he has a huge COD backround which he told me helped him. His exact words were "unstoppable sex machine of arrow pwnage" . Because apparently he had the muscle memory of strafing and accurate shots. Again you might want a second opinion as I'm just relaying what I've heard.

Yes aiming is a huge part of it, specially when your doing that powerup shot...it sucks missing.
There is alot of strategy to it. Shoot and get hit or dodge to try for another shot, that is the question.
One of the problems i had, were people hiding behind other red players or mobs to get you out of LOS.
It was very nice being able to stand behind others and have them take a beating while i just let loose in group pvp.
Overall i liked it enough that i rolled a archer for OBT, even though its taking me a long time to get out of my habits of playing a warrior in WOW for 5 years...going from "chase, chase, chase", to "get away from me you dumb enemy".
I played archer a little in beta. I dont see them as a 1v1 class... seemed like a stronger class in a group setting.
dont pay attention to people who have only played beta look to ones that have seen 60 gameplay and base your decision off that. Personally iv seen archers one or two shot people at high level mind you the skill cap on archers is fairly high(you can really tell whos good and bad, just like it will be with berserkers)
Archers have a ton of pvp tools and are deadly if played correctly.
Solo 1v1, Group Pvp, No there best.. Need BEST is you.. You need best player to use archer.
im sad to say that all of the archers opponents in that vid were absolutely terrible...
