Alot of the time when I'm pvping a slayer, they basic attack to build mana and throughout the entire time my screen is spammed with COMBO ATTACK AFFECTS YOUR ABILITIES! As I am mashing my keys frantically to no avail, my character sits there going OOF AH OW and looking like an idiot every time they get hit, why is there this recoil on combo attacks? it seems stupid.

Anyone else getting this?

Ah, youth.

I wouldn't rip this person. Seeing how the combat system is unique. You need to constantly move around. The more you move the hard it becomes to build energy up as a Slayer. But if you are going to stand face-to-face, a Slayer will rip you apart.

The trick to fighting slayers as a light or cloth armored class is to not get hit.
