Deathmatch Tracker

When you are kicked out of a deathmatch it is impossible to tell which team is winning.

- A "simple" (maybe not super simple but...) have the deathmatch menu pop up when you die and show the current HP of all players that are still in the match (and *dead* if they are already out) This way you can tell how your team is doing

- Also maybe I just didn't see it but it would be great to have something pop up when the match ends (kinda like the "block" icon on zerkers) that says "TEAM X WON the match!" and stay for 2 seconds on screen.

- The deathmatches are very fun, its just a little hard to keep track of what going on which makes them less interesting.

- Also I saw someone suggest a rematch button (THIS IS SO IMPORTANT!!) we had so many times the guy would be like "ok click me and do join deathmatch again".
- you should get a "join rematch" / "leave" button choice after every deathmatch to help set them up.

Thanks

We desperately need a rematch button, that much is certain. I fought with an alternating group of about 12 people during the last day of the beta, and I just had to keep re-creating the deathmatch and re-inviting everyone.

Though it did give a good opportunity for people to sit by the campfire and let the rest of us 1 off 4v3 or something.

That brings up another thing we desperately need to facilitate long running deathmatch contests: FASTER HEALTH REGEN! Out of combat, and probably restricted to around campfires only (for pve balance purposes). As it stands it takes far too long to get your health back up for another fight, though this time allows everyone to chat it also tends to drag on and get boring when you just want to do a rematch. Of course, I could see this even being a balance issue, as campfires may well become the new bandage, everyone just popping them between fights in pve. Perhaps limit it to deathmatch groups waiting for a rematch?

lol.

Anyways keep on deathmatching!

Health Regen is monstrously brutal if you don't have pocket healers.

I for one tried to drop healing circles on campfires, and always healed my duel partner - if more priests/mystics could help out with that, it would be much more reasonable. Just wanted to put that out on the healers' radars.

I agree with all of the OP's comments. Auto-rematch would be so nice. Would also be nice if the had a running score tucked away in a corner during the fight - how many players left on each team or a momentum bar or something. Also a fenced-in area somewhere where griefers couldn't enter or mount, or heal those still in the fight (for duels too).

Love the betting too - great idea!

It should just keep everyone in the DM lobby after a match. I know it was a pain inviting everyone back in every time. Why not keep the lobby. If someone needs to leave it is simple enough to quit. It just makes it a little more tedious to chain battles.

I also hosted around 2 hours of death matches in beta. It was really frustrating having to remake it, not to mention all the whiners saying HEAL ME I HAVE NO BANDAGES... I may be a priest, but I can't heal you if you're not in my party. I can't invite you to party because then I can't remake the death match until I'm finished healing your cheap [filtered]. -_- It's kind of silly.

I agree with all of the above OP statements.

The only way I could tell if I won or lost was if I was still alive when it was over or if I won money.
