Okay, so I'm confused here.
On a PVP server you can gank anyone who is lower than you as long as they're above level 11? However, this makes you flagged as an outlaw and anyone can attack you? What is the point of being "flagged" then? Seems like there'd be a lot of ganking like any other game's PVP servers?
How does open world PVP work on a PVE server? Do you just flag yourself and you can only attack other people who are flagged? I am confused. =\
afaik, there is no OWPvP on PvE servers.
They do get every other form ( I think they are getting GvG as well).
They dont get the Outlaw Buff.
So if your on a PVE Server and want to PVP u are limited to:
-GvG(When they add it)
-Battlegrounds(When they add it)
The point of flagging is basically turning friendly fire off.
You can also attack higher level players then you after 11 they don't have to be lower lol.
The entire outlaw system and ability to flag does not exist on PvE servers, aka refer to Psychopathy's post.
Why would you be looking for OWPvP on a PvE server? Don't we have the two separate types of servers for a reason?
I don't get why one would have to flag as an outlaw on a pvp server? Every pvp server I've ever played on you were flagged the moment you log in. Another thing I'm not sure of is, since they don't have factions, is it possible for you to harm people in your group with attacks? So if I'm healing my group member and decide I want to shoot the person attacking him/her, is it possible that I could miss the attacker and hit my group member? I guess that's how it worked in Asheron's call... probably the same for Tera? Trying to decide which server type I want to roll on. lol
There is no friendly fire in Tera.
PVP and PVE:
All will have, except PK ?
maybe they play on pve servers and want pvp because they reached endgame and are bored of spamming dungeons?
logical explanation without trying to assume that pve players are less skilled than pvp players
