Since no one is reading all the pages I have decieded on editing my post to answer question i've seen since last night.

So to recap:

If you are defending yourself and kill said person(s) and they are lower level then you, you WILL NOT get penalized for it.

They have to be -6 levels for you to get INFAMY points.

You can stay outlaw without using the outlaw skill for xx amount of time according to your infamy points.

If a healer use's certains heals on a group of people thats pvping they will turn outlaw. (I will do some testing on whether healing the outlaw or non outlaws makes you outlaw.)

The way I see it, it only applies to people 6 levels below. You won't get the forced outlaw if you kill someone who is at most 5 levels below you.

What I like about this is that there are no penalties, except that you are forced to be in outlaw mode. Which shouldn't really be an issue if you love PvPing.

It then leads me to the next logical question: does this rule apply to killing outlaws who are 6 level lower than you?

I'm pretty sure the infamy points system only applies to killing those 6+ levels lower than you.

Um, ok, what I read is that you earn points for killing people 6+ lvls away from you. I didn't read anything that said per kill.

Only reason i think it apply's to someone one level lower is because of this statement.

"If you have even one Infamy Point, you will be labeled an outlaw."

Well you do lose a point every five minutes. So still having just one point would still have you labeled as an outlaw.

Low levels can gang up on a higher level, they can go into outlaw mode get kill'd (obviously) have no penalties against them but make the higher level stay in outlaw mode for defending himself. It doesn't say they person has to be in outlaw mode to start to get these penalties it just say's killing someone x levels lower.

That could also mean that after 60 seconds of not fighting, you wont' go to normal mode if you killed someone 6 lvls or more from you.

I kill someone my lvl, 60 seconds later, I'm normal. I kill someone 6 lvls lower, after 60 seconds, I'm still an outlaw till the infamy points run out.

Also, you can speed up the loss by killing monsters your lvl or higher. Low lvls wont be roaming high lvl areas cause I'm pretty sure they would die to the mobs there. So I guess pro tip would be not to hang around low lvl areas as an outlaw if you're trying to get rid of points.

Or, just hang around town or a safe zone. Either or

Now all they need to add now is outlaws have no protection in safezones.

If an outlaw is in safe zone trying to get rid of points, they're not going to be able to progress their character or be out and about causing havoc. It effectively removes them from the game (though not forcibly, it is their choice to stay in the safe zone)

I don't see why they would need to remove the safe zone protection from outlaws. Any outlaw that's hiding in town, after running rampant among the lowbies, because they don't want to die is going to get viciously mocked anyways. It is the PvP server after all
