1 lvl 11- = 10 hours of free red, why would a serious ganker need more than 1? At lvl 32 run in the basi area drop a group of grinders, you'll be set for the entire weekend.

Also ValkyrieLaw... damn, take a chill pill. Big deal if people only like to pvp in BG's and not in the open world and want to call themselves pvpers. They are, maybe not in the same way as you, but they still are. If you're better than other people at pvping, then that's great, you should practice silent pride about it. You apparently love to open world pvp, awesome.. but jesus.

ValkyrieLaw's post is why we will see the Infamy Penalties in CBT4. It is coming, little by little they are adding in the pvp functions to test, don't be surprised when it arrives.

Valk, with the way combat works you can't really have a perma flag everyone system. Lowbies will get just as much help as they would before anyway. Now if you are griefing you just stay red longer so that when you go back to the high level areas to grind out your outlaw status you get ganged on by everyone in the area. Now, real pvpers won't care about this 'penalty' because they want to fight people anyway. So they might kill some lowbies to incite some action still. This will deter actual griefers who won't be able to kill a lowbie and then walk away and turn blue again and fade into the crowd. They'll have the choice of sitting in town for a week+ or being permared and probably attacked from all directions every time they leave a safe zone.

Also, you can pretty much swoop through some level 11-20 questing zone and aoe a group down and be set for a week or more of permaflagging. I don't really think getting aoed down once a month is going to really hurt many people. You get killed once as a lowbie so some guy has permaflag for May, by the time that guy 'needs' to come back you'll be 60.

People these days are lazy I suppose. I personally have it keybound.

I agree with everything Valk said...except for "Kill lowbies until you can pvp all day without flagging, then repeat tomorrow morning." I mean I still think people will do it just not for those reasons. Won't take too much to be dang near perma-red

Me personally I had no desire to kill lowbies until they put this system in, just for the fact that people cried for some form of penalties and got it. Annoys me to no end, so therefore have fun dying lowbies.

You do realize the outlaw ability is still there if you don't want to kill lowbies right? This literally has no affect on whether people would have killed lowbies or not. Unless you're rebelling for a 'penalty' against lowbie killing that is only a penalty if you are a griefer who doesn't want to pvp. Which, given how many 'h4rdc0re pvpers' end up just being griefers who run at the first sight of a challenge, could certainly be possible. Hell, some people hit mount>teleport>mount just to travel faster every 15-30sec already. And perma-flagging the entire game doesn't work in this combat system.

pretty sure you have to have it keybound anyway. Only thing I think that is clickable on the hotbar are use/items/consumables. When I tried to be a clicker with my buffs it didn't work.

Every GvG I fought against. That is apparently how you win: Go for the easy kills/ganks, run from all else. It is sad.

Well that doesn't make me a coward, that just means I'm a speedy little [filtered] and likely a member of the coolest class in the game ^^ mystics baby rawr!

Actually it does affect people. Say I flag and kill someone= level then some scrub lowbies run up and attack me because I'm in outlaw and I kill them. Now I'm red for 600+ minutes. Not cool.

Let people grief people, grow to hate them and get revenge, police your own game. Now with the system I'll probably just point and laugh as the carebears get culled.

I don't see how perma-flagging wouldn't work. Don't run through their AoE and you won't be hit. Unless you are saying this towards something else?
