Funny how you claim it's nostalgia, except the other big MMO that's coming out (GW2), their main selling point is their WvWvW, which could be likened to OWPvP. Yup, definite relic.


Actually, that's more like a 3 faction Alterac Valley instance without PVE elements. It will still feel like a battleground my friend.

This is just pathetic. "DONT DO IT! NO BGS!! OH, AND I HAVE NO SUGGESTION AS TO AN ALTERNATIVE. MY HOPE IS THAT THE POSTERS THAT FOLLOW ME -THE OP- WILL DO THAT FOR ME!!". En Masse, do not be so narrow as to heed the words of these uneducated meat-heads. You have created a gaming environment that is very unique for PvP. In fact, I want an arena system added to this game because of how unique the PvP is. The ideas your dev team has come up with are certainly industry altering and I would hope that the company continue to produce groundbreaking material and lead the future of MMO's.

Don't let the fact a reticule exists make you think TERA's PvP is overly groundbreaking or some incredible experience. It still does its fair share of "catering" to the masses, and EME definitely doesn't seem interested in creating a "competitive" environment.

Regardless, i still agree that the lack of BGs is ridiculous.

You are correct. Sorry, I had to pose a strong opposition in order to send the message to these guys. I will also agree that I over-emphasized some areas. If D3 turns out to be better maybe that will be the better alternative for PvP. Until then, I will never know.

You mean D2? Thats all D3 is. A reskinned version of D2, and I played this [filtered] 12 years ago.

D2 is not D3, otherwise it would be called D2. I am sorry, maybe your English teacher can tell you different words mean different things - while companies can explain that newer items are not the same as older ones (Iphone version for example). Also, there are some major, while minor changes in D3, I could spend 5 minutes and list a ton of them and how incorrect you are, but you are not worth the time nor effort.
