DarkExile on 04/24/2012, 08:10 PMThis works, untill someone is so "leet" that they have friends on alts rez farming, then the count goes way off.
If they can do it without that [filtered] then sure, always fun to see the "best" and go kick his/her [filtered]
There are already people who do this for the duelist title =/ Any duelist i saw this weekend definitely did not make me think they were a good PvPer.
And who brags about the number of honorable kills they have in WoW? That ONE guy who has over a million or something kills? Hes reallllly bad at the game, ask anyone whos seen him in a BG. Im impartial on the idea, i think its kind of cool that there is no way to track it. But maybe make achievements and titles for getting a stupid high number of them, then you could just use the achievement tracker to see how many you have. There definitely does NOT need to be a K/D ratio because that would make even more people hump safezones

Most of the kids that play this game are probably going to be bad. In a subscription based environment developers recognize that bad players want to feel like good players or they will not continue to play.
Look at the instanced PvP in SWTOR - you get a "kill" for contributing 1 damage to a player that dies sometime. It is literally impossible to have a negative K/D in any Warzone in that game. This is to make bad players feel like good players.
W/L ratio for duels could be a decent compass for player skill level but people will exploit this as well obviously.
Maybe something "lifetime non-infamy gaining killing blows" or something will be included.

I just want a counter for the sake of having one, you make of it what you will. :)
How about a counter for Killing Blows in GvG pvp? See who is doing the most work for a guild.
