I really wish people would stop crying about how PvE things effect PvP. PvE comes first always as RPGs are inherently PvE games.

Multiplayer games are inherently PvP. MMORPGs are multiplayer games.

PvP comes first, except for EQ/WoW and WoWclones because EQ and WoW twisted the market with scrubs.

Also re: PvP in MUDs. PvP in M59. PvP in UO, AC, DAOC.

I'm with Easy on this one.

Also, to everyone saying it doesn't work in PvP, or maybe it just doesn't work in duels blah blah.

It works in both. I have tested this theory. Only with the 15%, but it works with that, I'm sure it works with 30%.

And I don't know how it scales with huge numbers, but it returns exactly 15% of the damage dealt when you're dealing with your regular numbers that you get from evenly geared players.

Console RPGs were PvE. But even console games extend from pen and paper games like D&D which definitely had PvP aspects. The earliest types of online RPGs were PvP as well.

It is only a new trend that MMORPGs are about PvE.

A reflect is bad for PvP. Several people have noted how it can negate any type of AoE tactics. As a PvPer I really hate how gear has become so focal. Why do most of you run after better PvP gear? I guess I like the asset destruction of PvP, found in DaoC or Shadowbane & EvE. Gear in EvE is a dime a dozen (sure things cost lots of Isk, but anyone can buy it) it's about using your gear in the right situations. Gear in Shadowbane was a joke, not because gear didn't help, but because it was about the player and group dynamics.

It's not difficult doing some photoshop.
Anyway, after using 200 enigmatic/identification scrolls, I could only get the +15% reflect on the bonus (+3, +6 or +9). So yeah.. I believe it can only stack once, but who knows

It can definitely stack twice as I was able to roll a double reflect on my pvp chest.

So if you are low on health and you know the guy you are attacking has it ..hmm...
Or if you were 2v1 and manage to kill one only to die from having low health and attacking the other one.. especially the 30% wow.
Yea that could be frustrating and game breaking. I hope I don't run across that, I'm enjoying the game so far.

Where does this gear drop from?

(Playing Tera EU here. So wondering if it's an existing instance or one you guys already have. Yes, we still dont'have Training grounds etc)

Hi, we've tested this many times and even having 30% reflect damage on your armor, it does not reflect the total 30% in pvp. I did 124k crit to a slayer 1 level lower than me. He was wearing armor with 30% reflect damage, but I only took about 3k damage.
