Such a great game ruined by safe zones everywhere and no rewards for PvP or GvG. Sad and pathetic.
what kind of rewards are you talking about? rank rewards would be cool but grind rewards... not so much.
PvP is its own reward. Why do people want an arbitrary progression built into PvP to make it more like PvE?
I would like to see rewards in the way of guild power, connected only by OWPVP

I do agree with there being too many safe zones.. 90% of my pvp encounters have ended with people running into a safe zone. I'd like to see them implement a lvl cap of sorts for safe zones. For example, if you're in a lvl 20 area, then you're only protected by safe zones if you're within that areas level range. So a lvl 32 wouldn't be protected at a safe zone in oblivion woods and the lowbies would still be protected from gankers.
I'm waiting for the full game with the politic/territory control features to be enabled to see what we can do with world PvP.
As for rewards those can be added later, but pvp is fun. if they tie in in with the guild controlled provinces it could really work out, maybe guilds be responsible for policing areas from outlaws and so on?

Grief is rarely rewarding in any game at least with in game items, They could just make it so you only get rewards for killing players around or above your level. I don't think anyone is suggesting people should be rewarded for one shotting players who have absolutely no chance.
The suggestion is that when someone fights back and does damage to you they go into a gray state that eliminates the safe zone borders. However if someone just ran they would be able to hit safe zones. This allows players not wanting to fight to still escape but prevents people who would have normally lost the fight from crutching on a safe zone to save their [filtered].
