Think EME/Bluehole can make the improvements fast enough?

Tera is a great game with great potential, but to anyone who reads the forums or plays the game, it is obvious there are A LOT of things that need to be done from a development/game design standpoint. (No not every idea or complaint is valid, but many are critical changes that need to be implemented.

Do people think EME / Bluehole will make the improvements fast enough to retain their population with all of the competition out there?

I personally see a lot of people leaving (which has clearly happened) and many returning once more end game content is added. Thoughts?

PS: I put this in the PvP section because many of the changes impact or are around PvP, although obviously not all of them.

Hmmm...this sound familiar. Where have I heard this before? Let's see...

I think most of us can agree that Tera has some great aspects. But if you read the forums, there is obviously a lot of work that needs to be done. The question is how is EME going to react? I strongly encourage that you take the feedback in, prioritize it, and communicate with your user base what your plans are. You don't have as much time as you think you may, people will leave for Diablo III, GW2 ,etc, before you know it. There are some obvious gaps that need to be addressed, the question is, how fast can you address it?

Oh, there it is. That's weird, both of these posts have someone named Mystikkal as the author. OMG, look at what else I found!

I just think OP is super concern for the game because he/she likes it just that much and don't want it to fall. It may be annoying to some but I can't blame him as it's how I feel as well.

I, as well.

I love the game. It may need some fixing, but I am willing to wait for a polished product; and hey I get the additional bonus of playing along the way, instead of waiting for it to be finished and released.

Some others may not, and I fear for the long term of the game. I don't want to see it die, as it is my preferred MMO currently on the market, despite the shortcomings.

I also really don't want to see the devs cater to all these [filtered] crybabies who spend more time [filtered]ing about imba classes on the forums, than they do actually playing.

It's pretty close to perfect as is, IMO. With the addition of endgame content, and the minor balancing tweaks they have promised, I think it will shine gloriously.

I just hope it lasts that long.

just like tman and xdavo mentioned .. i do like the game and am just trying to make a point. You are correct I made a similar point prior. Does that make it invalid? Read the forums troll, the same points are repeated over and over again, by the same people and by different people.

Any game will have a massive launch, then numbers die down...then you see the true numbers. Personally I never expected the game to boast more than 1 pve and 1 pvp server a few months after launch. I love the game, but that said...they do not to show us something. Closed beta this support was responsive and amazing...but they do seem to be distant now. Instead of worrying about new weapon skins...they need to address the questions the communty has:

1. When exactly are BG's going in...not just estimated dates
2. When will safe zones go away on pvp servers, at least for wars
3. When can we have longer timed wars instead of 24 hours, etc

Whats next on the agenda...whats the future? So far post launch all we've gotten is the zerg=win vote for vanarch system. We really do need more...i'm all in for tera...but would like to see some response.
