The only ones who have the right to complain are those who actually accidentally kill a low lvl trolling them by being near a high lvl fight.

Even in my guild I hear so much about people crying because they got 3k infamy and they have a target on them. These are the same people saying "Cant wait to hit 3x and camp lumber town DERP!!!

Like wtf? is it really fun? If it really is that fun then stay there. Hit lvl 3x and stay in front of lumber town forever. No one cares about your dam complaints. If you want a easy gank then wait until someone is fighting a bam, wait til a duel ends, bring a crew to a 3 on 1... idc but fight someone within your range.

It is retardedly easy to kill someone 5 lvls lower than you. If you cant pull that off then plz sit in front of LT and show those nubs whats up. But dont you dare whine because you got "punished" for being a [filtered]. Dont give me the whole "IT KILLS PVP" It does no such thing. it makes others pvp you! Thus it encourages it. It also encourages skilled pvp where you are more motivated to fight someone your lvl range(ish).

It's funny cause every time I log in, I get assigned a random amount of infamy. One time I logged in and it said I had 209 infamy. The next day I logged in and I had 0 infamy. Then the next day I had over 1000 infamy. What's up with that? And no, I wasn't participating in any sort of pvp.

Killing infamous being infamous having infamy because i'm killing people and don't notice someone 6 levels lower than me....

The trick to getting rid of infamy is doing dungeons... Worked for me several times now... 1 dungeon run is enough to get rid of 200 infamy.

The more i see complaints against infamy the more i think it's working as intended.

......... Yeah a guild mate was getting attacked by a group so I went to assist.................... They were in the 20s and I was in the 30s............. 400 Infamy later they didn't bother him anymore :) sucks but oh well.

The way I see is "if you do the crime, you do the time". In fact infamy shouldn't get reset by killing monsters. If they want to make it go away, maybe make it so getting killed 10 times by community will reduce 1 infamy point.
No society ever forgave those who comitted crimes. In some of the cases they are just powerless to stop it, which leads to revolt. Good thing, we are in a game world.
I don't like being killed when I am lvling and have about 25% hp left by a guy who has full hp and 10-20 lvls higher than me. Or I got ganged up by 3-5 people 1-5 lvls above me. I don't like the fact that I got to restart escort quest or redo a BAM or have to ride back all the way out. But that can't be helped, only thing I can do (if I want to) is change a channel (which I am not going to). I will just take it like a man and get myself to high lvl so I can protect myself or get revenge.
People shouldn't be whinning after killing the weak. You knew the consequences.

My friend was borded yesterday(Level 23) and got a lowbie(level 16) down to 1% and let me kill him, he gained 0 infamy. This happened about 3 times, they should really just make it so if you do X% damage to the target you gain the infamy regardless of who kills them.
