What is the reward from open world pvp? (pvp serv)

Oh, I hope they never add artificial incentives to PvP! It was one of the things that ruined the PvP in WoW. We do not need rewards, killing people is supposed to be mean-spirited and fun in itself, if you are a "bad guy"! :P

The reward system is as follows:

Crush your enemies
See them driven before you
And hear the lamentations of their women.

Unfortunately this isn't the land of hyboria

And there is no reward for it other than the satisfaction of being a twit who like to grief others

Not carebear at all, I like pvp, but running around with a group of people jumping a single person is a [filtered] move.

To answer the OP, there is atm exactly Zero incentive/reward to OWPvP and also GvG PvP, and there is no reason to think that will change. Battlegrounds and PvP Gear however are most definately being added (official ETA = late summer).

I also want some sort of incentives for OWPvP and especially GvG. To all the noobs saying the incentive is "fun" how many times are you going to run that new dungeon that is really well made but gives Zero XP, Zero drops, Zero reputation, Zero everything. Oh right, you aren't. Derp.

1- I don't remember an eta given for anything, so unless you have a link to it your wrong.

2- Calling people noobs because that having fun is enough incentive for them to pvp (as it should be) is stupid.

Gear atm from PvE is super easy to get, hell you could craft a set and enchant it and it still will be decent. So complaining about no pvp is pretty pointless atm.

If you kill them call them scrubs if they kill you call their chars OP. Plus the fun of knowing somebody has to wait patiently beside a campfire for 5 min or waste some money

This isn't WoW idiot. Our reward is coming on here reading butt-hurt threads like this and listening to you whine about rolling on a PvP server.

There is a simple solution to this dilemma. With the overpopulation of all of the PvP servers, this would be a perfect time to make a hardcore PvP server and allow transfers to it. This server could have 1 item loot and friendly fire (for anti-zerg). It would bring many players from the other PvP servers as well as a ton more players that didn't purchase because there is no reward for PvP currently. There is a much bigger percentage of these type of players than EME is aware of. And clearly changing the rules on the so called "PvP servers" would annoy the carebears posting in this thread (who clearly should be on PvE servers). There are a lot of people who don't enjoy PvE at all and would like to advance their character's gear and bank through activities that they enjoy (PvP).
