I thought it'd be fun for everyone to share their first PvP experiences.
My first time being the attacker: I saw someone autorunning for a few seconds caught on the landscape. I don't know if they were AFK or a bot so I decided to blow them up with my sorcerer. Being AFK in an open pvp area is a bad idea and it's best to learn early.
My first time being attacked: a 60 sorcerer potpori got my 12 lancer in lumbertown. Luckily I saw him in the area and was able to get my crystals off before he attacked.
Crystals don't break in pvp..... Just FYI.
Crystals do break in PvP, but ONLY when YOU declare outlaw.
Soloing one of the first BAM quests down in valley of titans on my mystic when a slayer/warrior combo dismount nearby. I can practically hear them yelling at each other through the game trying to figure out how to flag to gank me, so I take the time to prep while they do so and drop a few motes and leave the BAM to my pet. As soon as they flag I attack and do the typical dot and kite, soloing both of them over the course of about a minute. Once both are dead and I finish giggling I turn my attention back to the BAM, which is still hurt and still on my pet.
My first PvP experience was near Lumbertown when I, a priest, saw a warrior outlaw. We were both level 15 so I ran at him to engage in a fight. The second he saw me he just ran. I chased him saying, "c'mon man, let's just duke it out" and he replied that priests were OP.
Well, I manage to chase him, dismount him and we fight.
It was extremely unfortunate though, because a level 60 friend of his showed up, dismounted and flagged outlaw. He of course proceeded to 1 shot me.
Just got to Lumbertown and ran over the bridge. A level 50ish Slayer ran out from beside the bridge and one hit me.
Good times.
Really need some kind of restriction against that
My first pvp experience was outside lumbertown. He hit me. I hit the ground. The end.
Good times. :)
