What they were in the KO/JP version, what they are in the Western versions, and what they could have been in the Western versions.

The pic is old and have been discussed before, but yeah the fanmade are better. But it's not really that bad, if they just fix the dyes and it won't be a problem anymore.

You know, i was completely against changing the armor in any way until i read this post.

If they made the censored armor look like that though... I think I'd prefer it to the original. Why do we not have an upvote button on these forums?

(Admittedly, didn't know it was old, hadn't seen it until now.)

If they had done it properly no one could complain, but i still think it shouldn't have been done at all.

Fixing the dyes won't fix the fact that one of the leather armors has some exposed hip due to sagging pants, and it's just textured stark white to lamely try to pass it off as clothed.

People have a hard time understanding that this is *still* a korean game.

These elements will show more and more in the game as progress goes further. Westernization is doing nothing more than taking pieces of the game out with it and promoting cultural ignorance in the process.

Check out this video here:

It's just a matter of time more content and features will be removed from the game in further patches.

In the end it's just a lazy way of appealing to those who never played an asian mmo at the cost of the authentic originality of the game itself. I wonder if people have this same mind-set when they step outside of their lawns and go to 'melting pot' cities such as New York? Do they expect to see everyone and everything the same?

It's a wonder why the rest of the world laughs at us.

Yup. We needed another thread just for this. Sigh.

I've already said it. I don't mind the changes too much, I just wish they had put more effort to instead of just copy pasting shorts, atleast keep in with the original unique designs and throw something as artistically beautiful in.

While that is an awesome video... I'm not quite sure how it's relevant to the thread, to be honest....

I assume it was about a cutscene, but I never saw one in it. (I skipped here and there to make a quick look)
