Aman slayers.

Hey

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not but are Aman Slayers suppose to be slow? I mean I compare attack/skiills(Like Knockdown Strike) vs other races and it's a lot slower on my end and I have odd pauses between skills. It's not fluent.

I asked a few people and they said Aman have some animation issues with close ranged skills and comboing. Where as an Elin is very quick.

is this a bug that will be fixed? Or is it working as intended.

I think it's just slayers in general that are rather sluggish at the current level cap.

I'm interested in this as a prospective Amani Slayer! Can we get some video footage of comparisons as proof? Nothing gets bugs solved faster than proof of reproduction.

I tested the animation speeds of all the races using the warrior class, and I found no difference in the animation times over the course of ten attacks. They all took between 7.5-7.7 seconds to perform ten basic attacks, averaging 7.6, even though some race's animations were less fluid and some more fluid. Those races with pauses made up for it by moving faster at other points.

The Elin definitely look faster, though.

Bigger characters appear to move more slowly. :)

It's a matter of perspective, and they still cover the same sort of distance in the same amount of time.

Its the same with running around - an Aman or Baraka seems to move quite casually while an Elin or Popori really has to scamper quite fast.

I played a human slayer in beta and now I'm an aman slayer. When I first logged on I was like WTF this guy is so slow. But as soon as I pvped I saw that there really was no difference it's just a visual trick.

no video proof means i dont believe it.

i played an amani slayer in CBT and have a castanic slayer now (made amani berserker as well, wanted two diff races lol), and other then the castanic 4th attack for their basic attack reaching much farther its no faster or slower, at least i didnt notice any speed differences.

i mean the aman "pauses" are only there cause the other races need a moment to do something like land back on the ground after their semi flying animations or for them to regain their balance after a huge swing with the sword. the aman simply handles it better (animation wise) so they need the pause to make them the same speed.

so again, either post a video shoing them as slower or i dont believe it based on my own experience.

Big things always seem to move slower anyhow :o
