Amani Biology?

The female Amani specifically. How does their hair work? They often have scales and horns inter-laced with complicated braids to the point that I'm not sure if I'm supposed to assume the scales are naturally growing or some sort of accessory. It seems somewhat impossible to me that those are all just horns and they grow their hair around them, but I'm honestly not sure. Any ideas?

Horns for males and hair for females are actually headdresses and not actual horns/hair. There's a loading screen that shows a male Aman browsing a closet or shop full of horns with an inquisitive expression on his face.

If you look at the horn models in the character creator, most of them don't integrate completely with the character's head, as though they were wearing them rather than having grown them.

Really? I always figured it was a hall of the hallowed dead. Die well, and you will be remembered forever.

Or at the very least, your big ugly mug will be.

I have no idea myself. I created a Aman Lancer, and love the look. But lore about the race seems to be hard to find?

Really? The horns are just elaborate headdresses? That would certainly mean that the males and females resemble each other more closely; with the horns they look like entirely different species.

You are so wrong it actually made me come in and sign up to correct you not to rub it in your face but to help you avoid some other bad people who pick on you.

In actuality before they added that lame " if your in a group greed" useless stuff rather then some short information which was pleasing . That amani is like a ancestor /librarian who has in his inventories the horns from the brave warriors or leaders from the past and they treasure those heroes but that display of horns surrounding him. Females seem to be a decorative piece as they hold together their hair in a fashion fit for battle. It seems the twin pigtails that are long fit for beserker as one of the long ponytail that has spike in the end seems to be useful to slap an enemy. So they are actually rock-ish way. I too believe they were horns but in closer expectations they fit more as a decorative hair accessory then horns o.o

anyways female reptiles has some differences http://www.rfadventures.com/images/Animals/Reptiles/lizards/frilled-dragon-pair.jpg here they are compared to be smaller and less of the "frilled flaps " these lizards are known for

really? HAHAHAHA you are so wrong it's funny. Aman are the desendents of Dragons, their horns/hair are in fact attached. That Aman you see in the loading screen is actually a caretaker of the "honored" dead, where they leave your head on display.

Looks like the Amani display their ancestor's horns instead of urns.

As for the female's horns and hair.
I think they style their hair like that, and -train- their horns to grow around them.

Like a head bonsai tree.

I like Roda's theory where the horns are formed to a certain style .. perhaps from youth on. similar to chinese foot binding or the rings on Kayan Lahwi women to stretch the neck.. Could be a beautifying ritual or depending on the tribe... I think we are onto something here.. or our fantasy is going crazy.. :D
