nice that elin have 2 meters longer reach on their lancer attacks. so on top of being the hardest to hit in pvp they also are the easies to hit with. this is SUPER BALANCED.

there are some other serious issues in this video.

I saw this, was a bit worried before, pretty sure they normalized it though.

Either way I'm maining a Mystic so none of these were primary concerns for me at the time.

actually re-examining the video elin have almost double the melee range of a baraka, how did this slip by as balanced?

i dont think it's been normalized as this video is only from 17 days ago on NA tera.

Elin is not anywhere close to double...

Also if you look at,

you can see the producer of Tera talking about hitboxes being normalized and the fact that the smaller classes have a more piercing downward strike whereas the larger classes have a wide arcing swing.

you totally misheard, he said elin are smaller and harder to hit but they have the same attack range.
"if you are a big baraka you are an easy target to see and hit, if you're a popori you are harder to hit..."

but this video shows the elin hits as a lancer from 7m and baraka hits from 4m.

Yeah, I heard what the producer said... But the proof is in the video. Definitely in terms of the Lancers the ranges are not the same.

This video is from CBT5, which although only a few weeks ago, is a very very old build.

As for hitboxes, let me say that as a healer, I've had little to no troubles targeting Popori or Elin. Yes, Baraka and Aman stand out amidst the chaos more, but it's not at all difficult to target either or.

Could be cause baraka is twice+ the size of an elin? They make up for the size of the character with extra range so it all evens out. If a baraka had the same range as an elin's attack they would wind up having more range. I guess that's better to you?
