they are all pretty good, actually. imo. myself, i'll go with a female high elf sorc, i think, mostly because i really like their fireblast and mind blast casting animations. and because of their magical boobs(can't avoid staring, in an absolute non-sexual way... there must be some magic involved or something).
just a couple of thoughts on skill animation of female humans, castanics and elves:
- fireblast, mind blast, arcane pulse:
like high elves the most, looks pretty natural and classy. human female looks slightly boring, imo, and castanics shake their hips way too silly when you get to higher animation speeds
- trap skills:
castanics with best animations. looks like they pull and shape something out of the fabric of space with both their hands, pretty cool and maaaagical. humans are pretty cool, too, and elves look "meh".
- lock-ons:
hmm, no idea mostly. i guess if you like panty shots, you'll like castanics the most with those skills. castanics and humans look quite the same while running, leaning forward, both hands slightly to the sides, though castanics have that weird animation while standing still.
elves form some sort of kame-hame-ha if they run with lock-ons active.
imo all three races look quite nice with those.
- evade skills.
looking at castanic glacial retreat for the first time the first thing i thought was "wait, did she just flash her pants at the enemy?!" lol... imo, high elves get the right balance on these skills, while humans do that strange half salto while backstepping and the castanic glacial retreat feels a little bit too forced in execution.
- basic attack:
human basic attack occludes too much of the screen space in the orange flame, it's very unpleasant to try and aim with that skill or use it in between casts if you shoot in enemies far away.
elven animation is a bit better imo, but somewhat lame, and castanic one is the best, the most dynamic looking one while not taking away the sight on your character and immediate surroundings.
hope that helps somewhat. you should just create a couple of characters and look at their skills during prologue anyway. no need to complete it, just delete the character and make a new one, testing everything right at the spawn area.
