Alright so I love using teh sword, so I'm wondering whether to play a human slayer or aman warrior, or even aman lancer.

Could someone enlighten me in the best race/classes for the melee classe?

Do you want to PVP or PVE?

Humans have the best PVP racials, while aman seem to have the best PVE racials for tanking (if you went lancer).

Though TBH play with what you like the most. I thought I'd like Elin a lot, then High Elf, but ending up going with human because of the nice PVP/PVE racials and the animations.

to be honest the racials shouldn't make a huge impact on PvP/PvE...

the actives are on 1-hour cooldowns and the passives effects are not as useful due to miniscule bonuses.

I think most people are going to go with better looks for each classes than for racial traits...

for a slayer/warrior with the roll doge that puts ypou behind the mob...
castanic, they have a miniscule bonus to attacks from the back . it is about the only racial i can think of that would help, though not a lot.

Castanic is cool, but do you think the human race is better because they're the only race with a direct bonus to pvp?

The human 10% damage resistance versus players is pretty significant. Their bodies are a bit bulky for my taste, but still look cool.

slayer get a 15% more pvp dmg for 20 sec at lvl 58 and if u are a human you get that 10% pvp defence, sounds like a strong combination for me
