I'm currently a lvl 41 high elf sorc and i'm not too happy with my race choice.

the biggest thing i want to change was the hairstyle, none of the cosmetic items look right with my face/hair.

also i'm not a huge fan of the armor for high elf sorc. its all bland slinky dresses, i've only seen 1 model i liked.

here's where you come in. what would you race change into and why, looking for armor and animation upgrades.

3)Human
4)Amani
5)Elf

Honestly, Castanics have the most awesome sorcerer animations of any race. (I main a fCastanic sorc. :3) When she casts, you feel the effort she's putting into her spells. Her armors are also very beautiful once you get passed the amount of skin showing. The devs put a lot of detail into the sets (It's too bad most people focus on the parts that aren't covered. :/). As for the hair, Castanics have the most varied hair selection of any races (imo). I'm sure you'll be able to find one you like.

i think its definitely between castanic female and elin. i just bought my voucher, trying to decide now.

looking at the armor castanics win over elin, but i do like how elin kind of fly when they are casting. thanks for the input everyone!

i can second what Roda said about castanic animations. they also got some interesting variety in their armour appearances, so it's pretty nice all around package. i do think that you might run into trouble when it comes to cosmetic items like hats, though. horns and hats don't go together all that well, but it's almost the same for elin ears from what i'm seeing.

I'd also second between Castanic and Elin! But I like how the Castanic seems to twirl the disk around their finger.

imo human. Humans have best cloth/leather/plate armor in game. Plus you get sweet pvp racials

I agree that Elin and Castanic look great and are attractive for other reasons. Personally I like how Elin cast Fireblast as a Sorcerer, they levitate in the air which is cool.

But I'd have to go with Human female.. They have great armor choices and they have the best face by far if you do it right. I find I don't like to use any cosmetic items because I like to look at my character's face. :)

My 55 Sorc is High Elf female, and I'm going to change to Human.
