Does Elin armor ever change?!?!?!

Seriously? Does it ever change? I have a level 40 priest and every robe I get seems to be one of the same 2 dresses just with a different skin(well three, but two of those it's such a slight change). It's driving me nuts!

I've got a 48 Elin Priest and have had the same thoughts cross my mind. Really though, seemingly only slight changes from here to 60 seem likely. However, if you look at armor renders you'll notice changes, probably with the 50+ robes. Only thing I could think of is to give in and remodel the armor.

I feel your pain, it's not that allt he robes are the same for 25-45 but they are so similar. It took my a while to figure out why i started to hate elins, and then realized it's because of the armor.

the issue is that with elin cloth armor the variances used to be mainly in the bikini/thong/whatever, but now that its all censored every armor has the same plain boyshorts, making all the armor look exactly the same as the previous set, with a few MINOR differences ofc.

keep in mind though that its not all elin armor, its just the cloth armor, light and heavy are both fine since they werent as heavily censored.

you can fix this ofc with the elin de-censoring mods, but if you dont want an uncensored elin then hold on till almost endgame, like in the 50s, and you get more frilly and maid like armors.

Wish i would have made a high elf sorc, they have the best animations by far imo. Oh well, too late now.

Well, the game has only just started, so it's not really too late is it? Unless you've already leveled rather high...

As for the main topic, I too was thinking the same thing on the Elin cloth armor. It's seems like much of the 30's and 40's armor is the same few designs with just variations in coloring. Indeed, by using Ctrl-Right Click to preview the armors, I didn't start seeing real variations until the late 40's and early 50's armors. I just hope the end game armor is a bit more distinctive for the cloth people. I do like the late game metal armors that I've seen for the Elin's however.

Also, I'm a bit leery of using mods since it seems that EME doesn't support mods, as well as the fear, probably exaggerated on my part admittedly, that such tinkering could cause a ban of some kind.

??

I have changed my Mystic's look at least 6 times since I hit level 20 and she is only level 34 now.

/confused.

...or are you saying that "all styles are short skirts" so they all look alike? Then okay, you got me. My current level 34 outfit is a blouse and shorts (player made).

but with the "americanized" shorts.

Sadly that's the only style that has better stats that i've gotten, but then i haven't run many dungeons on my way to 41 so far. Whenever i get a different style, it's got worse stats. :(

Actually, I was being unclear. What I should have said is that I too wasn't seeing much variation in design on the dungeon drop clothes, meaning ones that would give me a nice upgrade since I have been doing dungeon runs. One thing I had not considered however were some of the player made clothing, though to be honest, I haven't seen much of that but I'll start looking for it now.
