elin leather armor looks [filtered] ridiculous, the same shirt with fluffy pants that make her look completely pathetic

its not until 54 that an acceptable skin shows up

You can check out all the "Korean Style" armor at:

Just imagine "diapers" instead of the "briefs". Funny EME changed the Elin armor to not offend the "mid-west pastor corp" aka "The Prudes" and they end up making the Elin look even youger by putting them in diapers. :P

I personally think that a lot of the Elin leather armors are adorable and make them look like some kind of Steampunk mechanics or explorers (not necessarily befitting of their nature spirit roles which are probably better represented in cloth armors) with my favorite leather armor being this one: http://tera-online.cc/gallery/popori-fl/2776-popori_f_l15.html

I feel the pain of the OP because I know that my Elin mystic (which I intent to level to the cap first and main) will have long days of once-beautiful outfits turned into weird, homogenous jumpsuits because somebody thought they were unacceptable.

Which is funny, because in CBT there WERE steampunk Elin in Velika. You could find them near all the shops with the steam pipes and the odd giant egg in them. They're spirits born to protect nature as if instinctually. They don't have to be 100% about nature in all aspects of their life ;)

As for the outfits, all outfits in game follow two themes: the race/type and tier. For a very notable example of race/type, Male Castanic robes always have detached sleeves/gloves that extend up to mid-bicep. Always. Coincidentally regarding tiers, their level 11-12 greens are white and feature a red sun on them somewhere, just like with every other race/sex combo's 11-12 green quality robe armor.

Variations exist on the armors, they just don't wildly vary, possibly for consistency when designing the armors.

I've noticed all the blue robes are recoloured version of what I think of as the "flower petal" dress which was somewhat disappointing as its not really my favourite design. The greens appear to have a much greater variety of designs which is an odd thing though perhaps BHS expected people not to farm the leveling dungeons for gear but spend their time questing.

However, I can forgive all this as we'll level out of it fairly quickly and can't be used as templates anyway. Plus the level 50+ stuff looks amazing!

Here we go:

There was my outfits from level 1 to 34

1st. Fitting
2nd. Getting better.
3rd. That's more like it!
4th. Outstanding!
5th. Cool but... aren't we going downhill?
6th. Oh god that looks terrible.

1-30 you'll get the 1st-4th outfits which are great.
30-48 you'll be switching between the 5th and variations of the 6th.
I just want to blaze past levels just so I can get to the better armor.

6th looks great, unless of course you happen to have the pasted censored version that looks awful.

They don't look like that in the westerized version. They are now jumpsuits, briefs became hot pants (diapers) and all skin was covered from waist up.
