I'm mostly talking about how Censorship can ruin a game. First this then what?

no blood and gore ever if there is an option to turn it off? It's basically the same right? They have the option to turn off blood and gore, but what if they just turn it off completely and make you download a patch to have blood and gore back?

Would we see a thread about making this game violent? I'd bet so....

We don't want censorship in the game.. it is wrong, and it makes you feel like you are buying a watered down game.

but what ever...

Waited for this game forever...

I just want it to last rather then die out...

You apparently don't understand what censorship does to the game and the assumption they are putting on us for wanting to choose an Elin. The assumption that choosing an Elin makes us a Pedo? So by stopping this we will make them wear shorts?..

Why do we have to do something extra to bring the game back to its original content? It isn't about how we can patch the game, or what dat changes that can happen or what ever.

For example... You deposit money into a bank.. lets say.. $1000.. You yourself has deposited the money into your account and then needed to take back some of the money and the bank was like.. Well you can only withdraw $200. Wouldn't you be like WTF?.. What if then other people told you well you can just go to another bank they let you take all the money out.

If you put in money into a game or what ever you buy do you want 60% of the game? or do you want the assumption that if you chose that bank makes you a crook?..

So by saying stop QQing there are patches only shows that you yourself agree to receiving 90% of the game content upon release and do not enjoy original content in the game including GRAPHICS and TEXTURES itself.

If people want to QQ then let them QQ, but they have a reason to. Just because you think someway doesn't mean everyone is you or want to be as strong as you to Not QQ.

It is all cool if you like censorship. I would love the day you do QQ about censorship to see if you would change your mind to this. If not then oh well..


First of all, your poor grammar makes it very hard to take anything you say seriously.

Secondly, that statement is completely erroneous. A better analogy would be to say you deposit $1000 in a bank, then you go back to the bank to withdraw the money and you notice they repainted their walls to light blue because the old bright neon pink was bad for business. Maybe you liked the bright neon pink, but the bank is allowed to paint their walls any color they choose.

Also by your logic, every MMO is ripping us off every time they release a patch that changes anything. Mages nerfed because they are too OP? Oh no but I payed for those op mages!

That's not how it works.

This elin issue is not going to make the game die out, especially with bluehole and the more high level recent armor not being designed with pants out of mind.

Saw some pics from the more recent ktera patches and the armor becomes a lot more covering for all.

Call it censorship if you must.

My biggest problem with this post is how you said we're receiving 60% or 90% of a game because of this censorship.
What?
Since when was some slight altering of one race's armor considered 40-10% of a game? It's more like we getting 99.99% of the game, if even that.

Anyway, how the heck is changing underwear to shorts that big of a deal? I understand people who are anti-censorship of any kind, but honestly, how many of you really noticed that your Elin's lower body armor was a couple inches longer that it originally was? For people complaining about how it's bad quality, would a professional company like EME really release poorly redesigned armor for the live version? No.

The models with shorts added to the underwear is not entirely noticeable.

But the armors where there is almost the entire torso showing and a metal thong smaller than the underwear for lower models is very noticeable.


Either way..... i urge people to take a gander at the new armor models coming from korea. High detail, more coverage.

What is to be said about that?

I understand why people are upset about the censoring, but I just don't understand why it's this big of a deal to a lot of players.


It seems to be a touchy subject for EME, they keep deleting posts about the censoring, or because a few of them ended up showing original pictures/talk about client editing....

One would hope not. I'd imagine there's a whole other group of people just waiting to throw [filtered] around if it does stay at this crappy quality (myself included) after launch.

But after many years of playing MMO's that get localized to the west. I do find it's better to be pessimistic and be pleasantly surprised when something good happens (haven't had many of these), than it is to be optimistic and be let down (so, so many times). So I can see where others are coming from with all their complaints.

Regarding the newly released Elin armor (http://media-curse.cursecdn.com/attachments/63/59/13.jpg)? I think it's beautifully designed, as well as being modest. I can't imagine EME censoring it, and I know they won't. If Elin fan's complain about it, that says that they're not just complaining about censorship.
