If they ever did them, I'd want the same innocent/mischievous child-like look the females have. With a squeaky/high-pitch male voice. They have to be short too, maybe 2-4" taller then the females or what would be really funny, go the opposite of that and make them shorter!

Well... I always saw the Popori as Elins male counterpart... o_o But honestly, I think I'd be too jealous if they made a male Elin... So for my own selfish reasons I say no. (I think they might turn out cuter than the female ones and THAT JUST CANNOT HAPPEN!) ; w ;

That picture is from a series call "MariaHolic" in which that character is actually a guy dress as a girl. Her sister is on all male school dressing as a guy. It was done by their dad to understand both sides of the fence. According to the story. Also the heroine is lesbian. That's what makes this series so funny to read and watch.
