I was bored, and interested in getting a better understanding of the Elin issue. So I took the moment to look into the locked threads to collect some information. Keep in mind that this isn't about right or wrong, but simply about the forum opinions.

The following people wished EME would have done a better job at the changes. (Toggles, options, higher quality replacements, etc)

About 125 individuals of the forum.

Further, and no names to be mentioned, there was roughly 40 people who didn't care about the changes at all, but really hated the horse beating. While not caring, these 40 would have been happier without the Elin threads, and because of that happier if EME had done a better job at handling the armor changes.

This brings us up to 165 people who would have had a better time with Tera without the Elin changes.



I also saw a few that mentioned they liked the changes.

Around 10 people, who really were happy with the new changes.

Then there is also 40 people who hates pedos (no names mentioned), and think the changes were positive.

This brings it up to 50 people favoring the way EME handled the issue.


So rough estimate is 165 people could be happier, and 50 could be less happy, had EME done another solution.

Do what you wish with the numbers. I just thought it wouldn't hurt to have an easy to access collection of the recent discussions.

i like the changes .. o.o i don't mind it but i like it more then actually leaving the previous armor on o.o... and you didn't take into account of people OUTSIDE the forums .... the player base TERA hasn't touched yet .

If you only take account from the forums then of course people will hate or /ragequit due to these changes because they follow the games .

So your inquiry of this heated debate is a bit faulty because you only collected data from within the group that favors elin Before the changes. If you have personal data collection from interviewing people about a game OUTSIDE of the forums , you would clearly see the numbers change for with and maybe a little bit for against the changes . I show 10 people this game , they don't go after Korean aesthetic as they don't mind anime nor any of the lolicans and read manga ( i think ) . Not yet provocative like the ones for +18 or something ( not clear on the ratings but the ones that show seductiveness attribute ) 1= was 50/50 , 1 hated it , and 8 of them were glad to see the changes .

thank you for the information you brought up , and most of us know that many forums /elin fans hate the changes and the new people who join the forums recently says _____ because they don't know the history/lore/or history of the forums talk on First from popori = elin AND popori = to then elin with most cute shorts .

That's very interesting.

Too bad anything related to elin is always being locked and purged on the forum. People that hate elin running to get the threads locked all the time like it's been done before. Nothing new. Then Mod locks.

Hecatoncheir I would say, is part of the 40 somethings (or just a troll lol). From a past thread which been purged off the forum. Comes by though.

There were polls that were available(which are gone on here now) and websites that talked about the changes.

Perhaps you haven't seen the effects of the changes(or close inspections) huggables, but this is what happens to elin if you try to dye their clothes...

It's suppose to be one solid color but you can see the stomach and bottom area are different. And the foot is overlapped with red dye.

And it won't be fixed because it has to do with the armor. EME refused to give better quality, so now there's a couple of results from it' and those players are unfairly stuck with these glitches that would have never occurred.

hmm if you mean the shorts not changing color , then i see you'r issue and those polls i read so many. I can't clearly make an observation as I might think they use the same people for them . ( sorry )


the shorts I see the issue and should be checked again on at least the color and dye issue , but not to change back or revert as some people want or to meet in the middle (?) or to even offer an option for some to see the panties while to others they don't see it .

Polls are full of error and even i can't trust the data i got from the people i know due to percentage error can make a huge difference.

Yet i agree on your part of the look on shorts , i did not see that so thank you for showing me :D

No, I kept it restricted to the forums on purpose. (And not on purpose as in, these gave winning numbers for my side of the argument, but because I don't know of any good source for opinions outside the forum)

I put Heca in that group first, but then I noticed that in earlier threads he actually wanted EME to make better changes. So I figured that was his real opinion, even if he later gave up.

I see it has going to a very christian neighborhood and asking if anyone is pro-choice = getting to the point most people who is following TERA since day one , hate westernization because they see as a bad marketing style . and some came from Ktera and/or actually enjoys game for korean look and are kinda fixated in not liking changes at all ( but yet that'show i preview this , sorry if i came off the bad foot )

I see that as well yet some people in there are full of rage and just complain or " argue" too much


and I like some of the changes pet stores i didn't mind at all
