Any chance I can get my name added to the "wants original Elin armor" list, as well?

Else I've not been adding any who just express their general opinion in this thread, since I can't keep track of who is already on the list. (I could, but it is work)


You guys are so ignorant about this, how hard is it to understand that EME censored them because they wanted to reach out to a broader audience.


Except you do not censor games to reach broader audiences. You make two versions to reach broader audiences.

Think tea and coffee. If you have a tea store, only tea drinkers will come. Coffee is addictive, so if you switch to a coffee store, you get more customers. But a tea and coffee store? Wow, so many customers!

Even McDonalds knew to ADD carrots to the menus, instead of replacing fries with carrots "to attract more customers". (Sure people want to be healthy, but don't expect them all to want carrots)

Agreed. Heck, just an official Korean armor texture patch, which is already done by a fan (albeit slightly buggy, from what I've heard), would be enough. An even better solution would be an in-game option where you can pick to either have all Elin censored, all uncensored, or show every Elin with what their preference is set to (so if an Elin next to me has the censor patch turned on, I can see them with the new armor while seeing myself in the original armor).

Or they could go back and fix the stuff that's completely fubar. But really, just saying "here, you can have this official patch if the new stuff bothers you" would be far easier and satisfy far more people.

I see where you're going with this but they made a decision and took the shortcut. It's a done deal and it won't change. They took the shortcut to reach the broadest audience with the least time spent, so they can focus on other important stuff before launch.

Perhaps post launch you will get a patch with "uncensored" elin armors, but definetly not pre launch.

The problem is that nobody expects more out of EME, than your random grade schooler can do. Which is host a file online, and write a post saying "Here is an alternative armor pack, go ahead and use it!".

I've estimated the time it would take, to 1 hour. EME can spend 1 hour, and avoid 100 000 Elin posts. EME can spend 1 hour and gain 1000s of extra accounts. 1 hour... but they say no due to "Don't want customers".

I'm pretty much standing here shoving my money down their throats, and they just say they'd rather I take my money somewhere else.

I'm confused. I posted in general forums for the petition to collect more "accurate" data to make Destian happy.

The thread got trolled hard, 5 signed up, 10 troll-signed it, and then the tread was locked and moved here.

And while I was posting in the old thread, it disappeared on me. Moved? Deleted? No clue.

If anything I'd have assumed the troll thread would be deleted, but I guess it looks better if we have a 9 pages flame war than a calm thread?

Wonder how long this thread will last.

I wish I had some insight to the exactly what the priority hierarchy looks like at EME. I'm beginning to guess maybe the top spot is for the share holders and stock holders who care nothing for the games, and only see the world in numbers and value.

"Panties? Oh God no, that's a surefire loss in value! Throw in some sparkly vampires and young teenage pop stars, that'll sell off the charts!"
